Anyone know if too much air movement is bad? I don't want to stress the girls out.

Don't know if there is such a thing as too much air circulation. I would like to know the same.:wondering

I plan on starting with 6 circulation fans in my setup.
3 oscillating on the walls, and 3 more on the floor, to get the undersides, and to redistribute co2.

Those goggles kick ass, Papa! Lost, you are definitely my long lost bro. I was thinking about the same movie when I thought about the space look.

Hopefully someone will chime in about having too much air flow. I recall reading once that too windy of conditions isn't a good idea but I can't recall if it was a reputable post or not. Time to do a little reading :)

Day 1 in the mpbs!

The space lounge finally has some ladies!! These girls just went in the mpb room today. The one girl I topped is in the middle. I plan on vegging for 5-7 days and then flipping. I'll be tucking branches under as they grow out. I have a feeling they might get too big...but i'm ok with that :) Crossing my fingers that everything goes well.

First pic is right before the girls were taken out of the veg setup at 17 days. The girls grew even faster this time around.

Gunna get too big, but you are spot on bro, I think on the 7th day flip and start tying down the tops, lol. I think this is a picture perfect flip size, but with the MPB growth rate, if they get comfy, it'll be an overgrown mess and you will need more lights. Not a bad situation, its just work :)

Really great work EP. Thank you also for your link to the best stop valve out there. I need to buy stock in that company!

Depends, good airflow really hardens up the stems, but ive easily gotten away with just 1 oscillating fan for every 4 lights but that is unsealed with lots of exhaust. Reminds me if you ever saw any of Krustys rooms he had 10kw running with not one oscillating or floor fan, but Im not sure if he was being serious or just trolling the cannabis community.

looks great bro, drop those lights and train each branches to the lowest 6in square on the cage as possible without breaking them, its will open that plant up like a hooker. Ill post a pic of how insane the plant fills in for you

You guys are freakin awesome! Thanks so much for your comments.

Gotta thank DD again for getting this all started. We hope to see you on the boards more when you get more free time.

Nice 2001 reference, Jack!

Thanks for the reply antimatter. I think i'm just gonna stick with my 6 fans for now...just move them around to find the best placement. It's nice and windy but nothing too crazy. Hopefully it does thicken up some branches :)

Yo Lost, I can't wait to flip! This has been such a long time in the build and i've been without a harvest for months now. I think you're so right about tying the branches...they grow out of control if you don't manage them. Let the craziness begin!!

Dizzle, yup they are already getting trained. Waiting for the rest of the branches to stretch so I can tuck them under. They look like shit with the branches all spread out but i'm sure they will fill in. Lots of little branches coming out everywhere! I definitely wanna see how your girl looks with the training.

I'll be sharing all the details, good and bad so hopefully it will help others with their build. I've learned tons from all the mpb'rs that have shared their little issues and tips. Pay close attention folks...it's the little things that can cause you headaches. This is my first hydro run so i'm sure i'll miss some things...would have missed more if it wasn't for the mpb gang. Thanks all!

after they grew back out I have been pulling branches and ziptieing them to the cage. I really went to town during my 2wk veg in the buckets, thinned the plant out major, its like a giant scrog, esp for folks like use who have 4 plants that only get light from 2sides( half the plant) I also tucked the main kola under so I can keep the plant more in the "sweet zone"

good luck bro, its pretty much plug and play from here

Very nice start on the bloom easypleasie. Gonna be a real treat to watch some trees blow up in such a clean room... I could imagine dangling from the ceiling like mission impossible trimming leaves.... :D

yeah, i think i will take a few pages from your playbook if you dont mind, thanx!

oh, and i use the exact same baskets that ALMOST fit the 5 gal perfectly. take a good sharp utility knife and CAREFULLY cut (away from yourself) the very top edge of your 5 gal off. you end up with a hoop of the curled lip of the 5 gal and NOW your basket fits in the 5 gal like it grew there.

thanks again,
jr
