Even if he doesn't end up in prison for manslaughter, the time and effort involved in winning a case in the legal system even if your innocent is a allot, imagine what it would be like if there were guns and pot involved, it could be months and probably years before your able to get back up and running. Not to mention legal fees that he will end up giving to some cock sucker lawyer.It probably takes longer to win a case like this than it does to grow an equatorial sativa. Wouldn't get a single day in jail here or even charged with anything except for discharging a firearm in public would be the worst charge. Well it's a show all around the world with homicides and it shows dets solving em within the first 48 hrs before it gets cold. I seen people shoot someone with a stolen firearm and get off with self defense and no charges in dallas tx and the other guy had an unloaded gun. And publicity? I think if you are legal to have a garden you should be legal to carry a firearm and commiting a felony with a affirmative defense should be changed to having a legal garden while possessing a firearm... there should be no implied crime there.

I'm all for protecting what's mine too ! I have been broken into and stolen from when I have been away and if I had the chance to shoot, I would. I'm a legal patient on the way to becoming a caregiver. Been to a lawyer to know the laws, both for perosnal protection and for being a caregiver. A thief is a thief and should be shot, period.
A little story of karma if you will. Years ago AFOAF ;) had a grow with a guy and the agreement was the grower would never sell it, only my friends, friend would for the safety of the grow. Well come to find out, the grower began selling behind my friends, friend back and this idiot grower sold to someone who got busted and rolled on him. He got 7 yrs in Ft.Levinworth for it... karma.:boogie:
Now to go one further with karma, this grower guys sons grew up and found out about a grow house and broke in and got two huge trash bags of buds. While they were making their way down the road, walking mind you, a cop comes up behind them and guess what ?! Yep, they got busted for it and are now spending 7 years federally for that.
One has to love the power of Karma when we aren't able to even the playing field at the time of an incident.

I know in Oregon, if your legal to grow you can not have legal guns used against you and you can not be charged with child endangerment.... recent ruling stopped the state from taking the kids of OMMP complaint parents. I can have guns and weed as long as they are both legit.
