EDIT: OP, run those 4 1Ks on a flip-flop over that table...........that' be niiiiiiiiice :banana1sv6:

Better yet, buy a second table and run 2kw over each table... IMO that will be BY FAR the most efficient way to do things, and you'll get the best results.

Assuming the tables are next to each other and you get overlapping light, than I'd agree to that.

I was going with the premise that he's only got one 4x8 table/space to work with.

Excellent point, but I was referring to running say, two different tents, and two different 12/12 cycles.

One tent on, one tent off, and they change every 12 hours.

Of course, you would need something different to veg with if you're restricted on ballasts..

I think we're wandering now, though, as the OP seems to be restricted wit equipment.

2kw per 8x4 with a nice hood, 3kw per 8x4 with sunsystemII.

Crop out, and upgrade to 4kw with 2 8x4 tables :)

Normally u rock 2 1000 watters in a 4x8 but i've seen great additions by sliding that 3rd sucker right in the middle..

the problem is the space i just dont think i can fit it cuz honestly i would just love to get 4 3x3 tables and put a 1000 water above each one

Obvious question: what is the size of the space you're dealing with?

a lot of mental masturbation in here. i know this is a discussion forum but the beauty of those trays is that they're SIMPLE. 2k watts/ tray

hey bro each 4x8 table needs to produce 4+ pounds:)>>15 plants per table<<
>>>you can look in my gallery to see the way i do things but here is a small example from last time:)

you are running way to many plants per 4x4>>>dummy it down to 7<<with a nice 3 week veg, stripping all the bottom shit, you should have 5+ ounces a plant easy:) That can be achieved using a single XXXL magnum

This is what works for me:icon_spin:

I run 2k per 4x8 and hit close to 4lbs last round.. I'd say 2k per 4x8 is perfectly fine.

more light more heat= eve got 7.5 tons of AC for 16K of light and it still barely keeps it under 72 degrees

but you dont use a single thousand per 4x4, your using 1 and a 1/2. 3 lights per 4x8. like whats your gpw ratio? thats what is important to me. im thinking about going to 5x5 soil beds per 1k with 70 plants per. ive seen threads of someone hitting 2.5-3lbs per light doing so...

not including the strain in the equation really makes yield subjective

Ill say one thing for GTD's grows - he dont pull much larf out of there

I think 4 x 4 is max for a 1 k in a scrog or sog type grow - if you just shooting for 4 big plants you can prolly get away with a 5 x 5 - but the more light the bigger and denser the nuggetry

I notice all too often that the plants on the outside of my scrog setup produce much less then lets say the plants in the middle of the lights
