New here wanted to post about my current culture 4 site grow.
Took 4 buckets cut my own pipes and replaced my 4x4 flood table with the 4 site. The dimensions are similar to the setups that cc recomends for vertical hanging lights. I replaced the Radiant 8" with a Raptor and am going to double trellis the 4 plants. The Raptor is air cooled with an ice box radiator to cool the incoming air. I have two dual diaphram gh air pumps- one for the 4 buckets air stones (eco plus medium round airstone) and 2 of the four outlets on the second pump bubbling the control bucket ( eco plus large round airstone) with a Active Aqua 1/4 h.p. chiller (in the room next to control bucket). Mag drive 500 for my pump.
Other stuff in room this is a 1 light test!

No the name is an inside joke. My boy will read this and i will get a phone call in the morning. Mite / P.M. free in the room for now knock on wood.

One observation so far is the ph flucuation between veg. and bloom.
veg: ph wanted to go to 6.0 no matter what
bloom: ph wants to drop to 5.4 no matter what ( ph swing occured the day I flipped the room like clockwork )
short of that all the talk of how complicated and hard it is to run these systems I have found it to be quite easy if you have a hydro/rockwool background.
One word of advice leave the system the f*ck alone and top off with fresh water alot.
dont go over 1100 ppm peak bloom and your good to go. * P.S. Zone from D.M. is a godsend! *

What is your water temp?

Careful, PH wanting to drop could be a sign of the start to root rot. A lot of people do good till about now or a couple weeks into flower.

the ph isn't dropping it just wants to settle at 5.5 no matter what. It is stable just in veg it stabalized at 6.0 bloom 5.5. My water temp is between 66 and 69 degrees. The chiller is almost not necessary once the plants were big enough to shade the buckets.
And I know what you're talking about concerning ph drop and root rot, I am running zone and changing out every 10 days and so far 3 wks into bloom buckets r filled with healthy white roots and stable.

Looking like a nice start... I'm a bit surprised that you're running DM Zone and Roots Excelurator, but it seems to be working otherwise... hit up UCMENOW about the thread movement... :thinking

yeah the zone does cancel the roots a little but I had some extra so i said f*ck it. seems like it worked.

The lids are the old ones my boy gave me with his buckets. he had one of the first models and i could choose between the new and old lids. I chose old school because they snap closed and seemed more stout then the new flat ones that seem to cave in occasionaly.

with all this crazy growth from the uc sys. I was wondering if anyone has tried running mothers in this system. I know they couldnt go for more then 6 to 8 months but they would put out for a while. Let me know about your experiences
