when mine are about that size I'm at about 300-350ppm (.7) with using tap water.

For the record, I've rolled with humidity that low and still never had a problem. I'm not saying the girls were as happy as they could have been, just saying that it didn't slow anything down noticeably or cause problems. To me it looks like a problem with your nutes/water or c02

good luck

Every element plays it's part. Especially in a sealed room. But when everything is perfect you get explosive growth.

When your humidity is very low (20%) the stomata on the underside of the leaves close up to keep the plant from wilting. When that happens the plant stops transpiring water and therefore stops uptaking nutrients.

I'm not trying to argue the science, I'm just stating my own experience was different. I've had several winter harvests where my rh never got above 19 from veg to a nice harvest. If they STOPPED uptaking nutrients, then they would not have grown. It did lower my harvest some, but I still pulled over 1# a light.

The reason I mention it is NOT to let anyone off the hook about keeping an ideal rh. Its only to set the exception that he may get home from the store with his new humidifier and still have the same problems.

Hmmm... Well I got a humidifier and has already bumped the room up to 50%

swapped in new water and nutrients : 200 ppm
Ph: 5.9
Temp water: 63
Inside room: 75

Hopefully they will start looking better by tomorrow

Which humidifier did you get?

I've got an autofill mod for my 'Sunbeam' model (From HD).

My RH here is retarded low too, so filling that thing 1-2x /day was getting old.

Ive been thinking about taking the tops off of 2 or 3 of the cheap vicks dehueys and mountig them to a shallow storage tote with a float valve. Cheap and effective.

This Sunbeam model from HD (~$90) fits PERFECTLY on top of a 5g bucket.

Run line to a float valve half way down the bucket(just under where the humidifier body sits.

You do need to 'trick' a sensor, but a wine cork shoved up the hole works perfectly.

I rigged a cheap vicks one with a float valve and used a 2 gallon bucket as a rez for my 6x8 momma/clone room. Works great and with RH at 50-60 I fill the rez every other day to every two days. Will post pics soon in my journal.

Oh... the humidifier is plugged into a CAP controler to keep it at the 50-60% mark.

I have a vicks I dont think they work wel l.

the plants are looking better already thanks guys

Maybe I missed it, but what are you feeding them right now?

You've got a bit of a stumper here. Those leaves look a little bit like a lot of different deficiencies, but don't match any of them perfectly imo.

But the issue with pH/ppm staying pretty steady would indicate that you're either dialed in really close (they're eating equal parts of water and nutrients, thus the ppm stays the same) or they're not eating or drinking much at all. Since you're not seeing much growth that indicates the latter and the probable cause is humidity as has already been pointed out.

I think you're on the right course, I'd just add to keep a really close eye on them as the humidity goes up. When they start to perk up and begin drinking again they may want to grow very rapidly and you could end up needing a lot more nutes very quickly. Just watch them for signs of underfeeding, but make sure you don't dial up too much too fast.

I am just feeding them pbp grow, aquashield, and calmag. I have been keeping the dose low. this seems to be a sensitive strain. I picked up something that should set everything straight. Ill have an update in the next few days. For a hint for all of you that want to guess Im in georgia now :).

Boring I know day 18 in the UC....

hmm.. so are they doing better then? Its hard to see in that pic

Hmmm, I hope that PBP kicks in soon... Are you also using any GreatWhite or similar product bedsides AquaShield to help process the organics? I'd mix in a touch of GH 3 part or some other synthetic nutrient to get a slight jumpstart, but that's just me thinking out loud... :thinking

It has been a few days since I did a complete refill. They are still lookimg a bit to see.
