They know who they are, we know who they are, but we don't know who we are...yet?
Good to hear from you again, sumo, after all these years.mustache riding on the cannabis cow!
I always enjoy reading this section/thread. But my favorite is "EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOTHER" is growing. The market is flooded etc. This might be true to a point and only temporarily but how many of these "EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOTHER" yahoo MMJ grower Millionares (new to the scene) is actually growing quality meds? ZIP or very few of them. Let them all fall by the wayside because their growing dreams are gone. I have never seen or met any MMJ grower millionaires ever.
Some day I'd like to see this thread topic go away and be replaced w/ a "How Much Growers Are Charging Dispensary Customers for Their Weed/MMJ" It seems like someone got it backwards, or at least mixed up,somewhere along the way. Just my 2p, and probably a pendulum swing type of deal, anyways.
I gave meds away free to peeps twho didn't' have the money this month. If I consigned my gear and was stuck w/ that pricing for my top shelf, that would be an impossibility. Make some good people sad. If he wants to be a benefactor to the patients he provides for and, particularly, to the dispensary's cash flow, than god bless him. Best to keep his philanthropy and the details to himself, otherwise someone might come onto a thread like this and tell us that shit is chocolate pudding.Reading his post, I was under the impression that this Cannabis Cup winner was selling low...no? If he did, mad props to the cause of providing meds reasonably.
Not trying to flame you crow, but it's a bit naive to think we have 5-10 years to work this out. If we don't do something major to stop the chain of events that are currently in motion, that's enough time for corporate interests to gain total control of the market and the value of even the best cannabis will barely be enough to pay the increasingly high cost of electricity. IMHO the future of indoor cannabis growing is finite and will all but be extinguished during our lifetime unless we figure out how to stop "legalization" efforts and form some type of growers union to keep dispensaries from fucking us over.
Oh and when I use the term corporate interests, dispensaries are included. They are as corporate as it gets.
Good to hear from you again, sumo, after all these years.
I'm off to the garden. Who sidetracked this thread, anyways?
