Another long story for yall...
i have a buddy who has been growing for years and years, he is an old lot kid (grateful dead) who drinks a little (lot) to much. i think it was 2 or 3 years ago and he had just came off a mountain and was drunk ramblin about this and that, how they have the biggest and dankest plants on the planet earth this year and they got all there genetics from this super old guy... then he pulled out a decent sized bag of seeds and rambled on and on and on about these seeds and how dank they were. I didnt listen to much he said but he ended up giving me a bunch of em. About a week ago i was talking to a friend, who runs a few big hills up north and he goes, "remember those seeds from blah blah blah?" i go ya, i still got a bunch stashed, figured they were nothing...well it turns out these things are pretty dank little seeds, He is supposed to be sending me some pix of them in flower, but have not recieved yet ....So i grabbed a few out the freezer, i prolly shoulda popped more than four, but 100% germ rate!

the best part is, my buddy with the hills who told me they actually turned out to be dank said they smell like diesel and have almost a hashy undertone in the taste....Diesel Kush...haha im callin it Old Man till i see them flowers...

I miss that kid, we raged mendo for years together in a trailer, makin shine and growin herb...

ya keep ya seeds in the freezer? woulda thought that would kill them. ya know, ice crystals in the cells and all...

theyll be fine. just tightly seal everything.. almost everyone i know does it like that

i mean, they have been in a freezer for a LONG time, and 100% germ rate the other day.
It was only 4, but that speaks for itself.

I had some seeds that stayed in a chest freezer for 8 years, and the friend I gave them to had ~80% germinate.

I put seeds in the freezer. Always worked for me so far. Keeps them viable for years.

no just a healthy top layer ...i did grow a DJshorts BB in 90% WC just to see what would happen, it was dank. If you look closely at all my pix, you will see the wc "top dressing"....ive always done it, just something i picked up over the years...
