Quick update as i have a little progress well as stated above i germed three rock candy and three grenades .... the rock candy went right into the dirt after being germed in paper towels and the grenades went into pucks. I was interested in which way was best and IMHO straight to the dirt seems to be the way for me as the rock candy are taking off quicker than the grenades. The grenades were transfered to cups today. below you will see pictures of rock candy 3,4,5 and one picture of grenades as all of the grenades are basically identical at this point and picture were uploaded from phone and it takes way to freeking long !! The addict in me just germed two herijuana beans while i was sitting in here, gonna have to move 4-6 aliens plants with me when i move on sept 21 so whats a few more at least that way they will be ready for flower asap ..... ok well here are the pictures they are all in cups of 707/happy frog mix with some added ingredient's and yesterday started getting some cap's bennie's up until then it has been distilled water .....peace all .........SosEr today they are on there eigth day from being planted

well in order for me to stay off the page where my finger really want's to hit buy now.... lol... i'll post a quick update and then go back and spend another 200 on beans ... picture 1 is the alien grenades planted in pucks on 7/26 they are behind the second picture on rock candy planted straight into cups of dirt on 7/25 . I was curious as to which is the fasts way to grow or the better way IMHO. It seems to me that the root ball has taken off a lot quicker in the cups as I feel that the roots are taken longer to get out of the pucks. So going forward I will germ in paper towel's as always and then straight to dirt in cups. I will post individual pictures of each soon prob in a week or so..well thanks to all that are along for the ride its much appreciated ......Respect SoSer ps after i covered the top with worm casting i have not noticed any RA in several days - I believe they are totally gone now just a few were around from the contaminated perlite....

thanks bro.. yea and he is the energetic cat, the other one is like 35 lbs and only comes out to eat and shit.... never catch him in a picture unless its dinner time....

The 3 rock candy are really taking off and the grenades are just starting to catch up , except one looking a little sad, over watered I believe but should still survive I hope - Its gets a little tough being at shore all weekend and relying on a 21 yr old to water but hey.... besides the one grenade all other are kicking ass..... will post some pictures up after lights on at 130ish ......new addition's to the garden are 7- snow leopards which i'm really excited about also can wait to grow out these gem's along side Alien's gem's ..... peace soser ..... back later with Alien genetic's below are the snow leopard - tiger melon ....

Rock candy update pictures 3 - 4 -5 all three are pretty uniform so far . # 3 and # 5 are both same in size # 4 a few inches smaller in height # 5 Has a real dank smell coming from her (hopefully) so at an early stage two- three weeks old (PLANTED 7-25) # 5 would be my choice of early pheno or at least kicking off a killer smell ... all have same leaf structure so far but mostly all of Alien Genetic's seem to develop in the same genetic structure.... well below are my three Rock Candy's ......Will do the 3 or possible two (thinking about culling one - as it seems to be dampened off ) which was a over watering issue but might come back , so gonna wait a few days , the other two are coming along nice, just alot slower. I will never use pucks again - as the rock candy went right to dirt and grenades to pucks which seem to take much longer to develope roots IMHO..... PeAcE sOseR....

looking good so far. if you don't mind me asking, what do you mean by dampening off? and why would one cull a plant for this reason? forgive me, im still a newbie.

Sometimes after a seed pops and gets planted it will stick it's head above dirt then wilt and die. I think it's due to overwatering. I've had it happen way to many times.

Damping off is a plant disease, caused by pathogens that kill or severely weaken seeds or seedlings before or soon after they germinate. It usually happens when they are really damp and/or cold.

Will do the 3 or possible two (thinking about culling one - as it seems to be dampened off ) which was a over watering issue but might come back

I would suggest not to be too hasty about culling that one. Is it the first plant pictured in that post? It only looks a little overwatered. I have never had a plant that old damp off, but who knows. Try to let the soil dry out quite a bit and it might perk back up. Good luck with your grow. Positive vibes...

damn it took me forever to figure out how you were able to keep your picks as thumbnails. i kept pressing the thumbnail option whenever i uploaded my pics and nothing was happening so i picked full size. i just uploaded a pick i didn't mean to and didn't pick either option and when i posted to thread i see the pic as a thumbnail. shit at the rate i am going i am going to be a rookie forever.

Outwest and Stanknugzz, thanks for answering my question and for the quick lesson.

thanks outwest for answering and yes CD its due to over watering or too high humidity on seedling actually just lost two of the grenades and I put them in peat pucks which I think had something to due with it , as all of the RC are thriving away , short squat and working on fourth internode all ready and only one grenade is still struggling to get its roots to take off and there is no bad questions so don't feel like a noob. peace soser
