also, they look healthy, but i wouldnt say they are in the best environment for them, so that may give me more chances of gettin males i believe, from the start i was hopin to end up with about half females so i will be good with that.

Acai #6 is confirmed female :) im thinking the rest that are left should be females also but they havent showed sex yet. Still working on gettin the 400w goin

sux i havent gotten the 400w goin, i got the bulb but now I need an adapter to connect it to the ballast :( Should be up soon tho

one, go on amazon bro you can get that adapter cheap and two and this is just advise not being a no it all but i have read in numerous book that transparent cups are not good for roots now saying that i used clear cups on my last set of clones so i could tell when the roots were ready for transplant but i put a dark color cup over it..... just an idea bro.....

Thanks for the tips soser, I have a couple of ballast so Im gonna get the other 400w ballast out of the storage, that one should be able to work just fine with the plug im using. and yea, i figured light is bad for roots but sometimes i just dont care and go with what I have at hand, they will be out of those lil things in a few days anyways, im gonna put them in the pots with soil. Minor details but they will make it.

btw nice idea! clear cup w/ solid color cup to cover it. You always have a view of the root system

Do you do anything with the male foliage? Just wondering why they got so mutalated lol! Everything looks great! Can't wait for them buds!!!

i chopped em up so you guys can see i didnt leave any usable branches or anything to keep males, Its my respects to baba. Keeping males is a no-no for tester packs. Thanks for stoppin by 619, buds coming soon bro :)

yea, i did the same and was impressed with the way the roots took off to the bottom of the cup and then i read again that is was not a good idea so i am using clear cups to see the roots and covering them with color cups, i hear you with using what you have but here is what i do i buy cups alot and then people(my kids) will drink a glass of something and leave the cup and grab another next time. So i rinse them out and gather them up in my grow area.....

I seriously messed up the flowering schedule, i left the light on in the room a couple of days, also had major light leaks in the room i wasnt aware of. and just last night when i set up the 400w, i locked up the garage and i lost the key after. Sux cuz i didnt have the hps plugged into a timer so it stayed on 24 hrs and counting. I busted the lock open and got a new one today but I still messed up the flowering schedule. I need to buy a timer asap, the one i was using for the cfl's doesnt work for the 400w.


Heres some pics, they look droopy because i took the photos when its suppose to be their night time. Also they need to be transplanted asap.

I have made alot of rookie mistakes on this run, maybe because im rusty on my skills, and havent had money for the right supplies, but the plants have taken all the abuse and there still puttin on a pretty face! I think they look pretty good, flowering should look good to under that hps :) just gotta get a timer, soil, pots, flowering nutes, transplant and ill be on my way to dankness. I had a bale of coco but the lady that moved out that lil garage which is now my chill spot :) she took my coco along with her stuff, my fault i had it mixed in there but now im stuck with no coco. luckily i have some from those 6 males i cut, and i have a quarter bag of FFOF, ill use that and fill it in with some 99c soil baggies :) would be the cheapest option

dollar store soil is known to carry bugs as I have actually threw it on the counter and seen bugs jump on the counter also timers are really important as you can tell and very cheap and the one you have from the cfl's probably just needs a 99c adapter, it is nearly impossible to stay to a 12/12 schedule doing it manually ... don't think i would ever be able to do it, but hey its a learning curve ,i only know because i have done the same in the past ... I would def stay away from the dollar store soil if gotta go cheap go home depot or lowes and get like a 6-10 dollar bag from the center of the pile and be really careful if stored outside , you will not survive a bug attack with a limited budget , even the bug stuff that sometimes works is hella expensive.. again just advise

while i agree with you mate, i reckon nuking cheap soil would deal with any bugs. though it doesn't stop it being an invitation for other bugs later..

why bother with all that as he has stated he has a limited amount of cash and for things that work at killing bugs like serenade , safer , pyride 1.4 etc you are paying 50 euro (added the euro for you mate) when for another 9 dollars you can get good soil , and i never recommend using soil again its way to important and cheap imho to recycle
