not a problem man i got you when lights go off i was in there the other day and was thinking how can i take a few pics without bothering them i have a lil led flash llight can i use that ????

Dont disrupt the dark cycle I dont care what people say its not worth the risk but what you can do is turn the lights off in the day cycle and leave a light on somewhere else outside the room or what ever then start snappin pics. After 15 minutes of lights down turn them back on its all good no hermie issues

Looking real good tipper. You will certainly have a nice harvest after the new year. Just squeeze those last few grams.

Will do man im hoping to start flush mid week 9 and let it run until week 10 finishes. Thanks

Also went in the room today and i saw that a branch had totally fallen over it was nice and sturdy before but now heavy and had to tie her up. I have been letting the plants drink the water down without my top off rez filling back up due to i added only water to my system a few days ago after almost cleaning the whole system of its water. My ppms are at 400 now were at 500 2 days ago. My ph has went back from 5.8 to 6.2 in 2 days also. So glad to see they are eating. I also have been seeing leaf curl ?? That was another reason i felt i needed to clean out the system and refil with plain water possible nute lock i felt was forming. The flowers are swelling up very nice now since the water drop. wonder why ??? Maybe symbolizing the end of summer head scratch-er to me? My room temps are down to 72 now and at night 68 my rh is at 48 and at night 32 . Water temp is 66 and i plan on opening up my top off again after i let them feed maybe one more day and then ill hand fill half way and let the top off feed back to the epicenter. My top off rez had ppms at 600 on the dot and ph of 5.2 hopefully that will help after the flush to keep nutes in the system until mid week 9. Thanks all for checking out my thread and contributing . Happy holidays to all you guys ! I cant wait until chop they are starting to really double right now in crystal production going crazy. Take care.

I like to drop my water level a few times in flower. The last few weeks I drop fairly low and raise lower water temps a bit.. Drought is key IMO... My last run I turned off my top of the last 4 days. The girls drank water to the top of 3in pipe. Showed great results...

What reaction does the "drought" create and when do you do it? Are you also running CO2 when you "drought?"

This is a copy and paste off a PM, between a fellow farmer and I, where I was talking about this same thing...
This run I kept day and night time temps as close as I could, within a 10 degree drop at night. When I hit the last 4-5 days of my flush I dropped room temps to low 60's, dropped water temps from 65-63 and turned off my top off and let the girls drink only what was left in the system. After that 4-5 days the water level was about an inch above the three inch pipe. The result was unbelievable, everything swelled and tightened up like crazy, the hairs also put off a deeper red and the crystals dropped heavier with a nice tint of purple, more than this strain normally gives off.. I have done this on runs with and without co2 with great results.. When I'm in flower I drop my water level just about with every res change. I am now 3 weeks in and I'm a good 2 1/2 in below the ridge in the buckets. I extend my float valve to lower my water level where I like.. That extension is usually always needed by the start of flower...

So your saying bring up the water temps in the system ?? Last round i flushed my plants for 2 weeks and the fire og had about 2 weeks to go left but due to the other strain being finished had to. Now i saw very good results with the fire og due to that flush for the last 2 weeks, Also allowing the water level to drop as they fed. I would refill by hand fresh water once about 6 inches was out each bucket. I had thoughts that maybe the water dropping was mimicking the actual nature of the plant being that during these times in a plants life it would be nice and dry and no rain would have came by in weeks therefore forcing the plants to search for more for water and pump up the flowers with resin and size to catch the pollen in the air. Just my thoughts.

Ok that sounds nice now do u reccomend using this for every strain or strains that can take the change like that ??? Dropping the water temps to 63 wouldnt that be too cold or is there even a too cold for plant roots?? I also like to drop my water level during the flower time to simulate that water is getting slimmer as the weeks go by and to trick the plant to think that the season if coming to an end as the weeks go on. Idk if its proven but i have done this also and it has worked great in my system

Sorry about that. I meant to say I drop my temps during flush.. Just something I was playing with.. This run my water is sitting at 68-69.

I took a few leaf samples today from the tops and to my surprise all leafs showed signs of amber trichs. I would say that about 5% amber or a lil less were on every leaf so i decided to flush my plants now especially since last round i started in week 6 and let it run from week 6 to 8. I was very surprised to find amber trichs already. But i have heard from many ppl that this strain can vary any where from 52 - 70 plus days. I have heard that if i wait until week 10 they will plump up but i have been seeing swelling big time since this past week. But going by trichs is the best indicator right??
