Right on man thanks. I'm gonna play with Kool bloom liquid @1ml-3ml per gallon after week 1 and apply kool bloom powder to weeks 2, 5, 6, 7. Let the games begin:)

Did you read through that thread at the gardens cure? There is a user there named cavadge who had done really well with the kool bloom formula.

I just read through everything. I am really just leaning towards JR. Peters Bloosom Booster on weeks 2, 5, 6, 7 and calling it a day. Just started loading up 12 70 gallon rez's full of Jacks.

Are you buying the Ag Sil 16h? or Protekt?

hey cap you use a tripple beam scale for salts right?

Also what's the highest P you go to in flower? I'm trying to get away from MOAB, but don't know what new upper limit on the P I should try. I believe JK does 60, but i'd like to know what your oinion is on this.

my triple beam took a shit so I use a digi now. I thihnk JK bumps up to 60, but I don't remember. I am way below that. Been using 50% full strength (around 1.1EC), with very good results.

Gotcha I guess a better question then is what is your ratio with jacks and the bloom booster. The 3-2 hydro cal nit is almost exactly 3-1-4 what do you change it to?

I like to run 3-1-4 through week 3, then weeks 4-7 I have tried all sorts of different boosters. I'm thinking a simple 2-1-5 for weeks 4-7 instead of the bloom booster next time

I am getting ready to run the 3:2:1 JPH 5-12-26 : Cal Nit 15.5-0-0-19 : Epsom 0-0-0-0-9.8-12.9 along with MOST @ .1 g/gal.

Screenshot 2013 02 20 23 30 25

MOST guaranteed analysis from Jr Peters

According to my math the elemental ppm's are as follows...
121.53-41.47-171.04-100.4-75.99-34.42

I got these numbers by taking the ppm of a gram / liter and multiplying by the elemental percentage where required and then converting the g/L to the g/gal that I wanted. This is my first time achieving the elemental ppm, I would just like to make sure I am doing it right.

EDIT: I would like to get my sulfur higher, any idea on the best way to achieve that... Maybe potassium sulfate? I also have calcium chloride ordered but they were back stocked. I have some cal mag to hold me off, plus I can go pick some up (CaCh) from the grocery store if needed.

Thought this was interesting, from Jorge Cervantes marijuana horticulture bible page 262

it seems that average and limits are swapped? calcium is the only one whose "limits" exceed the average...

That ratio looks right to me for the 3-2-1. You can download the cannastats spreadsheet to do that math for you also makes things way easier

The Jorge Cervantes ppms need to be cut in half. If you calculate ppms that high the actual EC is going to be like 3-4 which I way higher than you need.

K sulfate is a great way of adding some extra sulfur, especially if your like me and want to pump up the K as well

That was the idea behind ksulfate... Both k and s seemed like they could use a boost. I am on my phone so I am having trouble finding a calculator that works on the android operating system. But happen to love math, I just want to make sure I am doing it right...

p.s. I am in coco coir

I'm new here but not to Jacks. I've used lots of nutes with pretty good results in DWC. right now I use # grams Jacks 2 1/2 grams Cal Nit per gallon at 80 % strength > after the 4th weeks I lower the Jacks to lower N and Ca and add 1 gram Epsoms still at 80 % .with my math {which aint real good} I come up with N 106- P 31- K 128- Ca 94- Mg 38- S 49. I use tap water that adds 30 ppm Ca and 8 ppm Mg.it seems to work very well in DWC. heres a few pics at 2 weeks and at 3

Thanks Cap for the great info in this thread. My 24 light rockwool room is thanking you more! 3-2-1, 5ml Protekt, .25 Calcium Chloride, and .5 Jacks Blossom Booster.

There isn't a yellow or deficient leaf in the entire garden of over 300 plants. I will never buy bottled nutrients ever again after I get Agsil 16h to start making silica.

Fuckin' A Batman... This shit is the tits.

If anybody has the info on hand, what is the actual NPK Ca Mg S ppm of 3-2-1?? I could use the nute calc but if someone already knows the answer its easier that way, thanks in advance.

I have been using 50% of full strength now with filtered tap with great success. My EC is like 1.1 ish. FWIW.

Hello all I have read this thread through twice and am still confused.

What would all of you experienced Jacks users recommend for DTW coco beds?

I have been running beds for some time now and am just starting to experiment with making my own nutes. I don't mind spending a bit extra for simplicity so the less parts I need to to mix the better.

For DTW coco beds what seems to be the best recommendation?

Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks.

1.8 grams/ gallon jacks hydro 5-12-26
1.2 grams/ gallon calcium nitrate
.5 grams per gallon epsom.

that is my current formula in DTW coco.

Does the use of Calcium Chloride interfere with Cap's OGBIOWAR products? (chloride interfering with live beneficials)
