Lol, so the only reason I held off this long was b/c I also have the 303 aurora project. I'm trying to decide how much nl#5 I need in the stash. What do you think? Are you picking up both?

Why would you consider adding it to the worm bin a waste? I kind of look at it like anything added to the worm bin the benefits will be amplified. It's not that I'm against frass. I'm trying to keep my mixes really simple. I think marketing has us constantly searching for that new product that is going to make our plants yield more, so I'm always really skeptical. Especially when the information comes off of a company that sells the product. This is from their site:

Sounds like marketing to me. Then take a look at this quote:

This is more what I would worry about, and why I probably will not use it. I strive to keep bugs alive in my soil. If I look under my mulch and I don't see a myriad of life, I get worried. I don't want anything damaging that when there are other alternatives.

Edit, forgot about this, but several different plant species (i.e., corn, peas, wheat, barley, beans, etc.) contain significant levels of chitinases in seed... In theory SST's of these seeds will speed up chitosan production.

I would not use it in a compost tea. I know the site says you can substitute for fish hydrolyslate, but I'd want to hear that from MM, or someone with a microscope and DO2 meter. Less is more imo.

Did you pick up the ATF, or are you just thinking about it? I know several sites have a Bodhi special going on - free snow queen seeds. I'm really tempted to pick up a some bodhi NL#5.

Ok, way too much thinking for a FrYday lol.

Lucky Charms is some no-joke smoke.

Have a great weekend!

Okaaaay, no arguing with that logic, especially since those are the reasons I do use the chit, LOL!

But, to the point, I do have the ATF, and ten are up. I'm thinking of scrogging them, and was wondering if you thought that would work well, since you know how she grows?

Ms H made me order a pack of Sunshine Daydream for her sciatica (that's her story, anyway, lol!) last week, and those Snow Queens sealed the deal... plus, I hadn't seen SSDD around for while.

Hope your weekend is green!

Haha! Dat carries around a naked Ken doll just in case she needs someone to hold her joint while she ties her shoes! :p Freaking awesome view! I'd love to sit and smoke a J looking at that scenery!

So far, the big ATF is pretty damn indica in structure. It looks like it won't have much problem holding it's own weight. I'll keep posting some picts as they mature, maybe that will help your decision. The SSDD is the sister to the Blue Tara. Heard nothing but amazing things about that strain! And man, with the Snow Queen freebies, it's so hard not to pull the trigger! I'm still saving up for the deadly G crosses though! :)

Ok, kind of what I was thinking. As much as I want them, I need to look at the stash tin and the bank account and re-evaluate lol. Especially after I just bought a new toy today! It's been a long time coming, but after almost 20 years, I ventured back into a head shop and bought a new toy!

Haha! I could tell it wasn't Ken, but I didn't know what else to call him. ;) That's awesome! I'm half tempted to go look at some camping gear today since the knee is still recovering. I'm already going through nature withdrawals!

I did take a couple of the flowering girls out last night to re-arrange. They're getting a bit big to move around. Here's a couple of photos.

Thanks pat, that would be great if you post ATF progress pics. I just put 10 into mini-hempies, and it would be nice to see what kind of training they'll need for a full scrog screen.

Do you know if there are any special phenos to look for?

Thanks again!

Can't wait to hear what you get out of your seedlings! I have not researched this strain at all. Not sure what phenos are popping up. It's pretty new, so not sure if there are some tester grows somewhere? Or not sure if a couple of people have finished theirs up?

Peace!

Thanks Horse! She was topped once, I think that's it. So far the big one isn't as fragrant as the other, but maybe that will change. I wanted to get the dream beaver just for all the cool hybrid names you could come up with lmao. I haven't looked into many grows though. Is it turning out super dank?

I haven't seen many people grow this out. I kind of have my snow lotus fill atm, but I had thought about picking that one up. The real question is has anyone grown out any of Bodhi's gear that wasn't crazy dank? lol. I'm still waiting for some of the deadly G crosses!

im growing dream beaver right now. it is dank but beware the hermie
I found a couple of nanners on one of my cascadians yesterday. There were only a couple, so I just picked them off, but I'll be watching it closely.

here is the dream beaver buddage. very nice. this one smells like mandarines

Oh yeah! Looking nice and frosty Stutter! (I expect nothing less from you :p)

I love Natural Grocers. $7.50 for 4lbs of sprouting seeds. Plus I picked up dried comfrey and lavender.

Seeds

And the smaller ATF, starting to fill out nicely and really packing a huge floral aroma! Can't wait to try this one!

hey Pat, you know dream beaver is dirty hippy x appalachia dont you. which makes it an appy cross really although if im not mistaken dirty hippy was a female selected from snow lotus seeds? whcih really makes it a snow lotus x appy which made it very appealing to me, the 2 strains combined
