Here is the food on a smaller scale.
I was supposed to add that before the last postI really like this. It may be something like the next step for me. Thanks for taking the time to post your efforts/results!
Does anyone else absolutely love this set up?I promised more pics. This place is done for now. I'm going to the beach. Hopefully when I get back the hydro shop has my pots so I can plant and hook up all the drip. Hand watering sucks ballsack. I still need to hang the dehu. The second a/c and the co2 setup will come out of the old room after harvest. This place is nice, it shits on my other places. Hopefully it yields like I'm hoping
Looks good!!
What are those two black fittings before the pump and after the pump? And is that a check valve before the mixing line? And a anti syphon valve up top before the filter?
Love the setup amigo!
Seen refrigerated ones go for a few hundred at the auctions. For the right price anyone can have one. I have another one framed out, just sitting. It could be built for any grow style. This thing is portable, I think it could be shipped worldwide given local laws and customs.
Sounds great, im definitely pullin up a chair and rolling a couple for this one. My question is how high are the ceilings on those containers, i ask because you said your installing DE lights... those puppies need height even the 6/750's need like 8-9 ft.What up farmers. Not sure who cares but I thought I would share. Half way through a build on a 40' container build. Quick rundown on what's going on. First thing was to paint that ugly ass orange thing the first day it showed up. I'm not to sure what those people are thinking when they pick the colors but they sure are ugly.
Actually before it showed up I graded a nice level pad, then ran power and water.
Then 2x4 framing, insulation and green board drywall the whole thing. I hate using the big doors so I fabbed up a nice 7'x36" steel man door to keep the tweakers at bay.
I am always stupid busy and never seem to get to the room when the lights are on so I build small 4x4 entry room with a second door. I also hate opening a room to a grow and having lights beaming outside to the neighbors.
We ran a 100a service to a 100a sub panel inside the room. I just picked up 6 nano d/e's I'm putting on 5' centers. The grow area will be pushed up against one side so I have a 2' walkway the whole way down. I put in 10 fixtures for green led bulbs so working with the lights off is all good.
I have 2-2 ton Fujitsu mini splits going at opposing ends so I shouldn't have any a/c issues even with the co2 generator. Fujitsu kicks ass. 17 seer units and I just got a 1.25 ton for the veg that is 25.3 seer only uses 5 amps.
I build wood sloping sub floors capped with a white PVC paneling that all drains to a gutter and then out the floor. I grow in nursery pots with coco perlite mix drain to waste with top feed sprayers feeding.
I'm working on the irrigation system right now but I'm doing a 100 gallon fresh water rez over a 100 gallon nute rez hooked up to a automated irrigation system using sprinkler valves.
Hopefully I will be up and running in a week or two. If anyone cares about my project I can post some pics.
Theres a company based out of Canada called; PHARMAPODS, they sell 20 and 40 ft containers fully overhauled with cmh lights, AC, CO2. Plug and play.It is definitely not a tilt up building but if set up right they can be very productive. I have been running 4 lights in the back half of a 20' container for 6 years.it is not the ideal grow but that room averages 7# I just got 8.5. the new room will just be one long row of lights pushed up against one side. After framing and drywall I have 7' width. That gives me a 5' wide grow are with a 2' walkway and I will still have a 10' up front for rezis and a sink. This place is going to be used just as a flower room, only vegging for 2 weeks or so after bringing the girls from the veg room.
This place is also more secure then any building I have ever been in other then concrete. my master plan is to bounce outa shit hole so cal and I will be walking away from a 25kw building down here so I need something I can get going right away when I get were I want to go. Just call the trucking company move the grow 500 miles and then wire it up and I'm back growing. I can find a new building later. But I know it's not the 2000 SF that I want

They sell the 40 footer for 40K, a grand a foot !!! LMFAO. .. so your running 1k DE ? Your set up is sick bro. Totally subbed, best of luck to you.For 60k
Is that a pharmapods?Mind me asking why a shipping container? Reason I ask as we have a few of these at work with 3 x 6 tables in them. Such a bitch to get into the pod with pretty much 11 inch walkway down the center.
Nanolux's og series has the wifi capability with the usb port. You can actually turn them on or off, dim them, check and ifbone goes out it will even send you an email or textI have 6 Nanolux in play now only one cycle but they seems to be a better product than most ballast in that price range. I have the OG ballast's 1000w for the HPS. I recently bought 8 of the cheap 100 buck ballasts off amazon for another garden and within 2 months all 8 burnt up. all these were the super cheap one's on Amazon, with no reset. On the other hand I have two ballasts that are like over 8 years old Phantoms never a problem with them. I was disappointed at the lack of any new software on the Nanolux website. The old software they have seems to work. Im in control of my ballast from my computer. I have the light tapper on and off. I have been happy so far with Nanolux.
Thanks. Yeah I think 40k is a lil steep. It definitely isn't cheap to build out but I could do it for alot less then that. And you just get a cookie cutter roomThey sell the 40 footer for 40K, a grand a foot !!! LMFAO. .. so your running 1k DE ? Your set up is sick bro. Totally subbed, best of luck to you.
Right on bro, im still on the 3rd page of your thread so im not up to date on your progress. Shit looks awesome though. Im on the light controller issuesThanks. Yeah I think 40k is a lil steep. Yeah I'm running 1k's. I have one on a second run in another room. I put it in there just to see what happened and I havnt had any issues with shorter plants. I ran it at 1200 last round but kicked back to 1k this round. Definitely doable without trays.
