As I’m cleaning and rebuilding, I’m thinking about the best way to do this. I decided I’m going to flower a couple mothers in the 2x4 and raise up the clones I already have and select the best to replace the mothers. The oz skittles is so finicky I think I’m going to flower that one, and the melon, the melon mom wants to flower, she’s tried once and I brought her back, she’s had a few pruning sessions and some shock. There’s also a chance for her that the dirt she’s in is bad from the ffhp she was originally planted in, she was outside and everything for a while. The last remnant of the beginning. Almost thinking of tossing her sad as it is. She’s showing signs of nutrient deficiencies but I’m going to try to get her greened up first. Give her some food and see what happens. She’s given a lot and been potted for a while. And watered with neem recently. The classic root aphid sign looks like mag and nitro deficiency apparently. The older GSC has those signs, and had the bugs chewing on her roots, I hate them.

Key lime pie surprised me by being up there with the hardy plants, fast rooting, vigorous growth in unstable conditions. Romie melon and key lime pie with a jack every so often from seed. I tossed all the other herer, I found a couple spider mites on one of the young herer and the romie. Not worth it. Fungus gnats are annoying, but not a deal breaker, root aphids and spider mites = trash. Glad I caught this early. I’m regularly spraying neem oil in the seedling tent. No sign of any bugs at all. Mostly misting the leaves every couple days and lifting the pots to check the roots in the holes, I spray the tent under the pots and in the corners. Figure a little neem in the beginning probably be ok?

It was a surprise because it’s a phenotype if gsc or so I heard, and the gsc I’ve tried is pretty sensitive

Our blue belly fence post lizard river skink. Aka my uvb/led/cfl experiment. My boys rescued it out of a swimming pool and it stayed with us all day, we took it home and started feeding it. It’s tripled in size, and is getting tame to me a little, normally if it sees movement it splits. It cracks me up when it does pushups 😂 put a succulent and some red lettuce, had a volunteer plant to, not sure yet what it is. There’s crickets, sow bugs, centipedes, fruit flies, and random bugs we find lol. They all work together and keeps the cage floor really clean, not many dead bugs or plant leaves, everything gets eaten.

Interesting the plants only grow towards the mercury vapor bulb if the led is off. The mercury vapor is 125 watt, the led is 12w. This led works better for the lettuce than all the other bulbs I’ve tried, different kinds of led, incandescent, different cfl, all different spectrums etc. I can’t quite understand the balance but if it’s only one or the other it just doesn’t get the same color and thickness, the uvb and led together get it done.

Interesting uvb is for lizards used to real sunshine and need it to prevent loss of bone DENSITY, makes me want to put one in flower tent. One of everything made, need a much larger tent for one of everything............

A lot of work rebuilding everything, getting it all reorganized and in one location. Not really for pics yet 🤪 Everything is alive for the most part, a couple clones look sad but I’m not worried.

in the flower tent I have all the seedlings and clones that were around the contaminated stuff. I watered them all to 100% runoff with neem. I let them dry out and watered them to 100% runoff with plain water. A few are showing nitro deprivation and some are droopy but many are still Loki g good. Half of them are flowering. The lights are set to veg for now.

I watered the mothers to runoff with neem as well, they didn’t seem to mind at first but it took a really long time for them to dry, I watered them to runoff with water today and gave them a touch of food.

I know neem isn’t ideal, I had it on hand and it’s slowing stuff down, ordered some chrysanthemum based poison coming in the mail, only using it on moms. Glad I caught it early, it’s back to preventative measures instead of infestation battle. I’m sure the hardy root aphids bastards are still alive in there somewhere, but for now I’ve beat them back. I kept the flowering clones only because I wanted to see how they acted through all of this. The melon and key lime are the strongest so far.

Been busy all summer with work, have a couple outdoor things I helped with for my disabled friends turning out nice. Now that things are a little less crazy my friend threw a few teens at me, and I said, why not....

Still in process, it was sort of unexpected and there’s some loose wires etc need to be cleaned up a bit, I might swap out the big led for the 125 3000k and the burple, same watts more or less idk or I might just leave it alone and see what happens, less is better at this point lol

Been a while, busy with work all the time. Have had some luck messing around, right now I have 5 plants going, 1 Sunday driver 2 frosted lemons 1 peach rings 1 key lime pie. Also have an orange kush I’ve been trying to reveg with minimal results. I think the dirt is just used up bad and I need a separate Stronger nute mixture

this was before I harvested it. It got huge so fast it hit the top and grew along the ceiling for 6” before I knew what was happening.

Micro was my plan all along but I over complicated everything and got so busy with work, nothing really turned out good, and my location was impractical and frustrating.

Haven’t been feeding, they were in pretty hot ocean forest mix, got the mix dialed now for next run. It was the bottom of 6cubic foot. Got some fresh and some big perlite. Learning about nutrients now, trying to get a feel for it in my limited time, seems like they still have enough nitro but lacking in other stuff, I’ll get it eventually, trying to get a couple easy strains to grow. Squirt is one I did good with. This is key lime pie, frosted lemons, Sunday driver, and peach ringz the key lime is the smallest one in the tent, have 2 frosted lemons. Only running 4 plants next time. Already got some durable 3 gallon pots with trays so I can water in place. Got my clone tent set up again, going to take one cutting or so from each plant. The key lime is a good one for small grows it seems, will see when it’s over.
