Haven’t been very successful figuring out the proper routine for the nutes I have so I decided to make the switch and use the pure blend pro, one thing instead of 3-4, hopefully will have some healthy plants all the way through next time.

Have a little clone and seedling tent set up

Have a heat pad under the water to bring it to 70 degrees, helps keep air temperatures consistent and makes water proper tent to water, my tap water is 45 degrees. Till recently I had no idea how much temp made a difference.

T5 and led 4000k half t5 and led is off, just cut these buds for clones, I’ll turn it in in a few days

Need help understanding the stages of flowering, and how it corresponds with nutrient needs.

Making the switch to botanicare next watering. This run already got away from me but it’s still my best run yet.

With my limited time and space I doubt it will ever be perfect, but I was doing it from the beginning as a fun learning hobby to maybe generate some cheaper smoke.

so far I’ve learned a lot about different strains, and that organic nutes are for the next level, lol. I have a couple good strains I’m going to run with now, and my setup is more or less good to go.

Had some delicious stuff called purple champagne, very nice smell, taste, appearance, and high! I happened to find a single seed, it was nicely matured. Planted it on the 29th. Popped right up!

Took 2 each of sundae driver and frosted lemons, I like the way they grow so far. And one from the peach rings and one from the key lime pie.

Have the water on a heat pad, it gets it to 68* and helps regulate the temp in the tent better at night

still trying to get a feel for the led, they get super bright, or pretty dim.

Really fun popping seeds for me, the success rate for me has been very high, just sticking it in dirt. Strait into the of/perlite mix, maybe a little sensitive at first but they get over it quick.

Switched last night to pbp for the 2 in smart pots, tds in runoff was 900 with tap water at 160tds, gave them both 1400 they look hungry, it took 25ml pbp to bring ph 7.5 water to 6, and to bring the ppm up to 1400. Not really sure what it means but they look happy this morning.

I’m using a kingbrite 240 in 3000k with uv and infrared chips in my flower tent to supplement the hps 400, and a kingbrite 125 in 4000k with uv and infrared in my seedling clone tent with the t5 2’ 4bulb

Little one is cruising along, hope it’s female, it’s the only seed in like 4 oz I’ve got over a couple months of purple champagne indoor. I am figuring it’s from a herm so hopefully female, but who knows.

Watered today the plastic smaller Pot with sundae driver, runoff was 400 way lower than the smart pots, feeding them almost full strength pbp after watering thoroughly with just water.

The peach rings looks furthest along just from the crystals pale appearance, but none have fattened up much, I didn’t stay on the nutes, so that’s most likely where I can improve the most, transition from soil nutes from ocean forest to liquid nutes. My plants don’t have any big sun leaves anymore not because I pruned them off but because the plants ate them and they died back giving their energy to the flowers. I think. I’ll get it soon, maybe one big plant in my sent with screen of green is my best bet.

Buds look great! I have never run a bag seed....though i was tempted. Looking forward to seeing how this next round goes!
Thank you!! I’m still learning, and I don’t have as much time or space as I’d like to learn in, but ya fun and I have had some reasonable good smoke to lol.

Usually I’ve bought humboldt seed companies products, or clones, but this stuff was sooooo good.

So the frosted lemons is the winner for first roots, most definitely something I look for in a strain. I cut them on the 28th, that’s wicked fast for a late term bud cutting in my uneducated opinion 😁

Fighting water temps in my clone tent, it’s been nice last few days and everything was winterized, I disconnected my hps vented hood and used a pc fan taped to it to use the heat in there, keeps the flower tent perfect, 68 at night to 82 peak during day, the system is working good but as it gets hotter I’ll have to vent the hps out again, my garage is not insulated or heated. I use a tiny odd electric heater and a temp controller to maintain the 68* at night.

Water temp in the ez clone should be 60-68 if I remember correct, it got up to 72 today, to hot, I turned off the heat pad in there and the t5, it gets pretty hot, the les is turned up all the way now, I’ve been slowly upping the intensity over the last week as the seedling has been growing. It does get hot on full blast, but the plants don’t seems to mind the increased intensity much, 24” or so away. I’ll see tomorrow how they do, I upped it to full today from 80%.

I have an odd micro grow set up, going to write it out and see if it makes sense to me.

I have a 32” grow tent for flower, it has a passive filtered intake, and a 4” carbon filtered exhaust, that vents into the clone tent for warmth and also to double filter the smell, the clone tent has a 6” filtered exhaust. It all works pretty well for the winter but once it warms I’ll have to change it a little. The 4” exhaust from the flower tent isn’t even warm by the time the air reaches the clone tent unless it’s sunny outside. But it’s warmer than the garage at night and keeps temps 60ish with the heat pad and water jugs at night.
