Yea , and you are doing pretty good in the mini competition !
Not the smallest but I'll have more to choose from later lol, gonna have to get rid of this 1 once she starts showing roots. Hate throwing stuff away but I don't know many people who are set up for freebies so I don't have much choice

Hey ya wasn't throwing shade or anything BigCube you got some nice bonsai there. I only have had them for 5 years or so cause I got some cuts I just couldn't lose.
Heres a 3 year old I finally gave up on, they do get pretty ratty. I use the regular bonsai techniques from some book years ago. Very little fert when needed, and then pull them up and cut off half their roots off quarterly and put back in with some new medium. It can take like 10 years to get a small tree to do what these plants do in one hah.

and my mini clones not to get too off topic here.

Not much to update just doing their thing, keeping the coco pretty wet. Might be pushing some new leaves, mostly just withering while they root. They don't have anything on the calendar for 5 weeks so they'll be ready for the veg tent by then.

Will just come down to actuall measured size , age of plant , diameter , light history etc , if we really want to compete 🤣

And since the white castle prize has emptied my bank account , i was thinking next years prize could be something like a bag of chips ? Cool ??

Equipment used

Fish Tank, Fish, Fish food, t5 light, air pump, neoprene sheet. Lmao

Clones in solo cups are 3-4 weeks old in coco. Everytime they grow a few nodes high i take the cuttings you see to the left in the pic, thats why the clones are still so small after 3-4 weeks.

Im switching my cloning/ nursery room at the commerical facility over to this now! Lol

Once i build that I will take pics and post them!

Yes. I have rooted them all the way up to week 11 now. The breeder i liked wont ship to america anymore and i have been saving plants I like best from the last seeds I have.
Nice! I use to put monster crops outside! Absolutely amazing!

Monster cropped plants do so good!

Have you ever monster cropped before? Or flowered a monster cropped plant?

I'm confused, is monster cropping just taking a cutting from a flowering plant?
Cause that's not a very descriptive name. Is it just a funny name someone made up for taking a cutting from a flowering plant?

Forgive me, I'm getting old. These silly new terms for old things are confusing.

Once but i didnt like the results. Wild bushy loose budded plant that yielded about half of the first grow. Never tried it again. The clones for me seem to grow into a normal clone of the mom.

I guess monster cropping is the weed term for harvesting the buds and leaving the lower growth on the plant and reveg the whole thing into a new plant.
