Eh? Are you not using microbes then?

Yah im locking it up, and the plants gonna release chemicals to attract the microbes that help trade it food it wants.

Im locking it up to reset the media, so toxicity stops.

But you dont know if you have nute build up. You just said you fed light.

And i grow in peat mix and feed pure blend pro. There are always microbes. They occur naturally.

What you are saying makes no sense to me. If the roots are blocked they are blocked. What you are suggesting is the work of enzymes. And also not neccessary. Plain water will clear it out fine.

When my plant looks like yours i first water to runoff and test so i know what to do next. Almost always there is too high ec in the soil so i run more water or a lighter balanced grow nute through.

That is what “ resets” the medium.

I use no additives or inoculations. Although pro mix has myco added.

I dont have coco experience but of you are watering often your roots are working fine.

Bonemeal will lock up all the nutes so they can't be accessed by the plant. Only microbes. Along with giving it flavor, oil production and all that jazz. Allows you to reset the media.

Yep it's predigested bone meal. Liquid.
When you say reset the media are you referring to set up for reusing it?

Based on the amount of water i should be replacing.

Its a 2.6 gal pot. x 10% = 1/4 gallon.

Every time i feed i should be only using 1/4 gallon before run off.

Im having to run about 3/4 gallon before run off.

So i do know im not watering it enough based on the plants needs, and that causes a spike.

Because once the media becomes dry, thats when numbers really get out of wack.

and its not like within 3-5 feedings ppm's in the coir dont go back to normal. Im just not sure if i need more or less. Best to stop it now. imo.

coco coir.

The idea is every time you feed. You reset the media's ppms. As you are pushing out all the nutes it didnt use every feeding by hitting a min of 20% run off. This keeps the media at the most ideal ratio/air/water of food for plant. More you feed, more time it spends in that sweet zone.

Resetting it as in. Making all the nutes unavailable to the plant, and push out all the nutes with flushing.

We got some toxicity going on from something. This will prevent the plant from uptaking whatever is screwing it up.

we are just so close to the end. rather than resetting with a flush and try to feed again.

just going to keep running bonemeal till harvest day.

Yah i cant keep up with watering because i have the lights running during night time for cheap power.

Also i highly highly highly recommend bacteria over fungi. You get SO much more benefits over endo/ecto. IMO id rather have the proteins, amino acids, and other awesome benefits. Over ones that just really help with water uptake and breakdown food. Its not needed. If you are using salts.

If its like outdoors in the ground. Heck yah endo/ecto for the win. But when we are giving it easy to access foods, and water when it needs it. Just over kill.

Its bennies that are bypassed with salt based nutrients. Coco is nuetral. Nothing to feed bennies in there. They would compete with the plant for food.

And in an organic grow or even a hybrid they occur naturally. They feed on organic material.

Lots of bro science here im sorry to say.

If you have fed too light your nute profile in the coco may be imballanced or incomplete. That is why we feed to runoff. To clear out excesses and imballances. Re feeding properly is what re sets the medium.

Not when you are feeding the plant everyday. Enough food for both of them.

Microbes don't know the difference between organic and synthetic nitrogen, P or K. They break it down with enzymes that they produce. Not like they are eating the N salt directly.

These strains are cultivated in labs for growers, they can handle high salt loads.

idk from my experience my roots are always stronger/whiter/healthier when i use bacteria over just endo/ecto. Have tested it a few times and always get the same results.

I didnt say the fertilizer would hurt them. Its too much chlorine that harms them.

But again you are giving misinformation. The chemical salts are the final “broken down” elements. When organic fertilizer is broken down by bacteria it comes out as the same chemicals as the fertilizers are made of. Plants take these chemicals up directly.

Im not saying to change anything if its working for you. You asked me for my opinion. My opinion is you need to monitor your runoff and feed strength so you know whats going on.

The additives dont do what you are saying. Im just sharing some knowledge. I dont want to argue about it. Argue with the universities and agriculture info i learned from.

Ha..........

My brothers wife just put the house im renting up for sale with less than 30 days notice.
After i moved here to help them out, and thought i was going to be here till Aug.

Now they want me to deal with people coming over to view the house?
To "hide" my garden/weed.

Even though they just told me last month it was going to be April.

I got a new nickname for her.

ice queen.

cause she is one cold bitch.

I got some autos in the mail.

I wont be able to grow indoors this summer. Cause of the ice queen.

Hopefully i can get my seeds before ice queen kicks me out even earlier.

Now i gotta find homes for my other girls. and get ready to cut down mku.

Thanks ice queen.

What state are you in? There might be laws to protect you, especially if you're in a legal state.

No shit I see shows where landlords have a hell of a time evicting people. Waiting on civil courts. Mess with the Ice Queen and say she has to honor her verbal contract or she can wait 6 months for civil court lol

Usually it is required that the tenant get a written 30 day notice on a month to month lease or if there is no contract.

So legally you would have all of April regardless at this point. You can usually call the courthouse and ask legal questions and get help wih this sort of thing.

They cant just say stuff. Fuck her.

Being autistic sucks. I wish I had the skills to better communicate my needs. Wouldn't be so frustrated if I could.

Got the babies in soil.

Mku is starting to yellow out abit. Pushing for a few more days.

Should see seeds mid this week. I did also write a note to oregon elite telling him about my firefly seeds.

It will be a g13 auto. For what I'm growing next.
