Thinned tha Girls for second time..The Stretch in Nor Cal soon. Hungry-nutes/Thirsty Bitches..15 gal was not enough. Root bound already. Hence the stalk.
Idk .... mainlining/manifolding was an increadible season and yield for me. I do something different each yr to test many growing methods to see what yields the best and that method by far so far produced the largest amount of huge buds with less larf and some of my best yields for that size (averaging 4+ pounds a plant)Not happy with my experiment off SOG. 2 Plants.. Outdoor is no place for manifolding I feel ..Prob a misspell :{
Thank youWow is that a red wood? You can drive a car thru that monster tree. That's incredible
The secret to achieving good yields (both indoor and out) is to allow yourself enough veg time. Much time is waisted in the beginning training them.
No Choice here in Nor Cal. Oct near always ..That Jewelers loop never lies :}The secret to achieving good yields (both indoor and out) is to allow yourself enough veg time. Much time is waisted in the beginning training them.
I sprouted my seeds in feb when I did it.
Yours looks good tho and healthy and that is what is important. Hope you have a great harvest.
Looks good! Like the greenhouse.Eleven Roses 5 weeks today
That’s a forest!Cheers.
Heya Tye your killin it bro light dep is soooo awesome!!! Holy fuck!Eleven Roses 5 weeks today
I have thought about that also. I'm trying to minimize work at harvest time and figure I'll have plenty of top colas, and I can just make dry ice hash out of the lower stuff and not have to trim it.Am I wasting my time trying to shape, top, train, Fim and make it so I only have a nice canopy of top colas on my outdoor? I see most people on here are going for height instead it seems. This was what I originally was going to do but after research and reading I decided screw the popcorn and LARFy bottom crap I'll go for colas instead. Is that a bad idea for outdoor or would you try the same given more free time?

Hmmm I tend to disagree with you on a few point. Taking off lower branches that wont produce is a long time used gardening method for most plants. The suckers do take up energy that could be used towards top colas and or fruit depending on what you are growing.. take two tomato plants and leave the suckers on one and take off the other. Big difference.Anything that slows the growth process down will inevitably lengthen the harvest time. That a fact. Topping will lengthen your harvest time AND reduce yield.
Trimming off the LAF why? Who cares you dont wanna smoke it make budder or something. The plant is not going to use more energy growing the under growth than she will making flowers. She will stop growing the undergrowth about 2 weeks before hard flower and then those lower leaves will turn yellow and fall off giving back stored energy and nutrients to the plant.

Google these if you dont believe me. Then figure out why plants do this.
Think about the science.
My plants are already loosing those lower leaves... I didn't have to do anything, just let the plant grow. Indoors yeah I trim that away for better air flow. Outside there's plenty of air flow and plenty of sunlight.
Fir yields - this is a fact bigger plants bigger roots = bigger shoots.
Its all about biomass. You're not going to have a huge plant with small flowers. Thats the genetics that cause that nothing to do about that cept choose your seeds wisely.
