i live in RI. we can put our plants out on the 20th of may, they start to bloom around the second week of august, and should be ready to harvest by the second or third week of october. if everything goes as planed?
the previous three seasons we put up a greenhouse around the plants, which seem to cause problem. were located about 50 yards from the blackstone river.
had 4 circulating fans in the greenhouse and could not keep up with the humidity. this season we are not using the greenhouse, we are going open air. when it rains we are going to blow them off with a leave blower. give that shot? variety=putang!

you guys hit the nail on the head.it all comes down to what strain, climate ,controlled training technique etc .and quite a few other factors in with that..i tip my plants at 3rd set of branches so that means i have 6 main branches that get lst'd for 3 months horizontally and all the other branches that come off them .i do get the small spinly branches that wont eventuate into anything flash.all mainly in the lower and centre of plant .even nipping the small growth on all stems just before flowering starts and never slows em down .the only time my plants slow is on the first topping.you can get vigorous growth lst'ing using the plants own stimulant in auxins .you watch them elongate back up for the light.they love it..they can b very easily manipulated to grow how you want..View attachment 1003517View attachment 1003518View attachment 1003519View attachment 1003521View attachment 1003522View attachment 1003523

I had a Harlequin 2014 that was 16% CBD and 0.52% THC. The last I was able to sell to a Medical Dispensary.

Wow. Mine is billed as having a 5:2 CBD/THC ratio so we'll see what shakes. Whole-plant CBD has been a gamechanger for wife's digestive system, so that was the focus for our first grow. Next year things will probably be more interesting. Pretty plant though. Tight nodes, lush. Very happy.

We have similar weather and end up losing a lot of bud to mold in S. Oregon. Last year was the worst. We harvested when we had to or lose it. All our strains never REALLY finished. It gets you stoned but just short of what you would like. So, I fill a lot of RAW cones and smoke them like people smoke a cigarette. I have a smoking habit.
This year we are thinking about a cover with fans. Early rains are the problem or strains that don’t finish soon enough.

I'm sorry but you are completely wrong. Southern Oregon has nowhere near the same weather as Rhode Island.
Nothing personal but you lost to mold because... workers were taken by the big boys, and your drying space was insufficient like all the other Bevis and Buttheads.

Lol aren't u mr fucking know it all. He most likely meant that he gets mold and bud rot while the pkants are still outside growing. U can't cure bud rot grey mold with fans and shit if the humidity is up or u get early rains. Oregon is known for its early rains so if inwere ubid grow a fast strain like purple punch or green crack. Also id do deps in hoops like most growers up in that area and on the coast because of the early rains and humidity. If you have fst buds and the weather is moist and warm then ubwill get some rot. Even in norcal I've gotten rot some seasons with some strains. So who is the Beavis and butthead ?

sorry there average but you are slammin’ a 73 year old NATIVE. MOST years we start to harvest some stains in mid to late October and because we do a two step harvest some always end up rotting in the garden because of the humidity MORE than just the rain. There’s no predicting weather but, I think last year was just a bad year.....kinda like grapes and wine. The forest fires smoke even adds taste to wines and weed. Check out my “Fox Farm with Frebo” post for my plants.

North Michigan got rain two weeks early also. Just in time for the swell that was supposed to happen.....smh.lol. All of my 12 got a slight amount of mold, but I had a big producer, and she lost a bunch to mold. I envision a long summer! (imagine it and will come. Lol) maybe this year will give us outdoor farmers some BUMPER YEILDS!! Alright everyone, imagine a LONG SUMMER. Say it outlook. It will be a long summer this year....we can imagine it into existence! Much love tree of life farmers!

good luck! i had so much trouble with the greenhouses and humidity. PM, BUD ROT, CATAPILLERS, had to try something different. i don't really count on outside harvest.i really enjoy the fact of growing under the sun, its a challenge !

I swear it never gets old seeing all my fellow green thumbs grows, keep up the great work everyone! They're all looking absolutely beautiful! I haven't posted in a while due to family issues and just financial issues in general taking up 99.9% of my time but here's an update on how my grow has been going so far!

Here's one of the 15+gal bag ladies, she's started to flower

The second 15+gal bag lady, she has also started to flower

This is the one that went into a stress induced flower, she's started filling in nicely and is starting to smell delicious haha

IMG 20200722 102356

This one here and the next plant has yet to start flowering, I think they're in their stretching phase so they should start flowering very soon
IMG 20200722 102400

The other lady that has yet to flower
IMG 20200722 102420

Here's the smallest of them all, she's started to flower.
IMG 20200722 102412

Now we're onto the 35-45 gal garbage bins. This lady here really took off but has stopped growing and is now focusing on building it's bud structure
IMG 20200722 102427

This one here is really odd, half of the plant is really light in color almost like a lime green but the other half is really dark lol but she hasn't started flowering just yet.
IMG 20200722 102431

This one here has started flowering and is looking really nice
IMG 20200722 102436

And lastly the two plants that I've planted into the ground, they haven't started flowering yet but they're definitely in their stretching phase since they've gotten so massive in just a week and a half lol
IMG 20200722 102443

I'm just so excited to see these ladies building their bud structure, my favorite part of growing imho lol I started feeding all the flowering plants a blossom booster that works wonders with my ladies during their flowering stages.
