Jealous of your tackle box full of seeds haha nice collections man and shitty for the break in, maybe it's time to invest in some sort of wifi camera or find a better property

I notice how closely they grew together, was that by design? or perhaps just good fortune that they got so huge and moved into one another?

Some Giant Sequoia, Sequoiadendron giganteum I have planted for putting in the spots where I might choose to cut down a few trees. (for making a grow area) I'm pretty sure these replacement trees will do just fine up there in the mountains.
You should plant and olive tree as well lol

Yup, maybe a dove farm, with lot's of olive trees. I suspect that would probably be controversial as well.

Seriously, I'm actually doing a few things. I've got a few apple tree's I put in down below by the river. Probably bringing in some bamboo down by the creek area, and likely will try for some blueberries, huckleberries, maybe a few grapes, hops and stuff like that. But yes, I want to get a nice diverse fauna inside the field I've got established, and get rid of the Devils club that's in there now. Oplopanax horridus

If you’ve been dreaming of escaping our cold, snowy Pacific Northwest, to a sunny and warm Mediterranean climate, dream no more! The ‘Frantoio’ is one of the most successful olive trees for the Pacific Northwest. Touted as the hardiest olive for our climate, 10° F or below and apparently gains cold hardiness the older it gets.

I could probably plant that here by our place, but I don't think it would do well out there were the snow happens. 50 miles away is a huge difference in climate here.

People would be surprised at what can be grown in the PNW all you have to do is look up hardiness climate zone and what's plants thrive in them. Lots of tropical plants can be grown you just have to winterize them. Lol I wish you all the best in your fauna peaches and cherries should be your mix of fruits to grow 👍

Yea, it's a pretty special place out there for sure. I've camped, hunted and fished all over our great country, and this place is really special. When I camp in the springtime, I can feel the waterfall though the ground, and it's rumble n my ears at nighttime, (and during the day) deer and wildlife everywhere, it's truly "remote".

It's essentially a rainforest most of the year, except when I"m planning on bringing in the crop up there, there's not going to be a fall season, it's far too wet. Auto's will have to do. TBH, I would like to find it a good home, and buy another piece, but I can't do that in good conscience unless I know it will be protected.

Last year I had a standoff with a 200 lb cougar, and now I don't go up there without a firearm.

Hey there, I guess it depends on the strain and your growing style pot size and nutrition. I like to grow bigger plants But I can’t always put them farther apart but I have to keep mine hidden I grow in the bush. But generally speaking 12 feet should give you enough room I’m thinking? Anyone else care to reply please🙏
Yes to all you said. I am looking at the shade it is giving now at this time of year. Obviously the 100 gallon pots with plants up around 10 feet have to be at least 10 feet from the next.

SNOWED on my 9 girls last week! Not a hard freeze thankfully. 1 of the girls buds and leaf stems have turned purple! Who knew? Trichs on all but my late bloomer, are mostly milky. How much longer until theyre amber? Any idea?
Pineapple Kush, ready or not here I come!
Great images!

Update! Trichs are all milky, but Im waiting for more amber...thats my runt! The plant not the ladybug!

I ordered a loupe and a hand held microscope and have a real hard time holding them steady enough to see my trichomes. Then I remembered I have some extention tubes in my old camera bag. I'm happy that I can see my trichomes now. It's still a hassle to find the right angle in the sun. Day 36 into flower so still early. It's amazing how much brighter buds are with a flash. So here are our only outdoor this season, if you want to call them that. More of a greenhouse actually, but here goes.

Please forgive the stippling, we've been dealing with bugs for awhile now.
