I flipped this plant six days ago as it is getting pretty tall. Is it safe to assume she is a female? I’m noticing these hair shaped pistils all over and no egg sacs so far.

Or is it stil too early

a few days of 16/8 during veg would have helped it mature faster then simply sticking with 18/6 throughout
its been under 12/12 now im assuming for 9 days and should be telling sex very very soon

Look for pistils growing from the calyx.
I see stipules so far but no real telltale signs.

I think I'm seeing the pistils growing out of the calyx it's at a weird angle making it hard to snap a picture, I need to raise the lights as well.

I'm getting anxious because it's my first time doing this... lol
I think the cycle was 16/8 the whole time it was in veg.

mmm, look into negative feedback loops and pattern of oscillation in plants
a plant that experienced 16/8 tends to flower much sooner when switched to 12/12 but it also does come down to genetics of your 'pheno'

I was a little worried at first when Madbud said he was getting a male vibe, but once the pistils came out I felt a relieve. Now I'm just hoping she yields great, I also have 2 clones of this plant growing along with her.

I got this seed from a friend and am not sure what strain it is but judging from the leaves I think it's an indica dominant of some sort.

On the clones I got off of the mother plant, can I top it or should I just use some training techniques on these sister clones?

If the branches are still growing in pairs [ even to each other] then topping is a good start.
If the branches are growing staggered then using LST or super cropping would be my choice.

Can some experienced growers tell me what this strain might be?

All I can provide is I got this from a local dealer, and in the bud there are some orange trichomes. Smokes great though, seem like a sativa dominant strain.

Or is it too early?

have grown many a sativa, which is what you are working with. have also grown seeds from dealers but i just call them bagseed and dont trust that the dealer knows the source exactly. for example, i have bought cannabis sold as durban poison only because it came from a supplier in the durban region. i found that when i grew the seeds out they were indica even leaning close the full indica, which dp is not. same thing happened with swazi gold. currently i can only trust the source of the seeds going outside because i was present when they were harvested while working in lesotho.

I'm still waiting on seeds I ordered from Herbies, while I'm lucky this bagseed grew at all let along I'm about to get a good batch from this said bagseed. The prices are ridiculous where I'm at thus making me grow my own. But it was indeed a great journey learning all about this plant and the requirements it needs in order to provide me with great harvests.

At least you can identify it's sativa dominant strain. I personally prefer sativa over indica.

I'm gonna be trying that once I get more options. I got Shiskaberry from Herbies coming in; it says 100% indica, I hope it doesn't make me stay on the coach or bed or even worse the floor forever.
