Yea I started to lose my vision too many times from it, which is when your muscles are having a seizure, including your eyes , it's near death, a little ways to go, but not a lot. Its typically from excessive IV use. My buddy used to get the kilos with the cartel symbol on them. Smelled like ether to high heaven, we would all take a line and immediately puke out the car window. So glad I quit that shit, I did ding up my heart though, it's not close to 100% anymore, but it is what it is. I have crohns disease anyways so it's not like I'm gonna live a long healthy life. These days I smoke my weed, maybe trip a little and hang with the family. I got old and boring but I like it. I rode a wild ride for a long long time before I got off of it.

Day 46 and official flip day. I may have a couple leaves here and there to take off still but there's just no winning that battle.

I hear ya, 90%+ of my vegetables are grown right in my backyard, always organic grown, never GMO always heirloom varieties, we can and freeze everything we can for winter. I’m glad I’m in a farming community, that’s all there is for 30-40 miles around me is family farms

Lettuce is a worthless food, we gave it up almost 2 years ago, we replaced it with microgreens to add vitamins and minerals to our meals as well as crazy flavors, soups etc all made with fresh veggies, separated into portions and frozen, etc etc

We’re still pulling frozen veggies from 2 years ago out of the deep freezer lol

I have a buddy who lived in pine key in Florida.
He and a homie were out fishing and they went off to the mangroves. Set a line and noticed a package out yonder They snagged it out of the water, it had been damaged. It was a package of kilos as my buddy tells it. So I get an invite to big pine key to go and see my buddy get married to a really cool chick. I hadn’t seen my buddy in a couple few years at that point, well, he had been hitting that brick with everyone and anyone, at all times, the outer packaging was messed up but the inner most 3 bricks were 100%. He couldn’t give it all away, pine key ain’t very large, and the amount of folks who partied to that degree was even more slim. Not all parrot heads search for that lost shaker of coke. Well, once my Wiley self got there, I was friggin dumbfounded at the condition my good friend was in, I knew he had the stuff, I just didn’t think he would have been doing it non stop the whole damned time. Funny thing is, plenty of folks knew he had been putting the spurs to the brick by the looks of him.

I imagine I would have died if I found kilos floating in the water that guy is built like a tank. Glad he made it through and it's kind of funny people didn't realize why he was a wreck. He must have been so zooted all the time.
Anyways yea I only do the organics myself, I am gonna get around to growing shrooms but I'm waiting until my little guy gets a little older, I grow the weeds and I aspire to do the DMT, I am getting there. Looking back I could do without my arythmia and other crap I caused my body, but life is a long journey and I feel it made me stronger. The people I know with easy lives are super soft, they can't deal with adversity at all they just melt down. The people who have been thru shit, they buckle up their boots and carry on. Glad we both made it through and met at the farm, you are an awesome

Why do you say lettuce is a worthless food? Just curious. I turn out 16 trays of microgreens every week, don’t get me wrong I love them, but they do require a shit ton of seeds. In a shit hits the fan scenario, in my mind, lettuce (amongst other greens of course) seems like a pretty sensible thing to grow.

My seeds came today from Inkognytogenetics.com. I bought the space madness. He asked what I wanted for a freebie and stupidly I said "moar deathstar strains" . I should have went with other varieties but I'm gonna give some of them to a friend. I just wanted him to have good fire too..

I’m talking nutrition wise only, it gives you little more than water, whereas with the micros you are getting nutrients along with the food material when you eat.

In a SHTF situation any fast growing food is acceptable, I do keep 10-15 varieties of lettuce seeds on hand if needed but only for emergencies like that, they’d get planted with the radishes etc (any fast growing variety of food)

Isn't that mostly when talking about iceberg lettuce? That's something you shouldn't give to herbivore pets because it lacks nutrition. Other types of lettuce are full of good stuff.

Yes mainly iceberg (which is what most people use) leaf varieties Are different but a lot of those leaf varieties are grown as micros / sprouts as well, plus the flavors it adds to foods..

People get shook up when they try my spicy mix they never expect that amount of heat to come from a little sprout

Here’s a spicy mix and I also added in red giant mustard and red Choi, other 2 are broccoli, wife’s favorite.. if you can’t tell

We had tacos yesterday lol

Those look good. I no longer keep reptiles but one thing I learned from that is not to buy iceberg. I only eat it now if it comes on a burger or something.
