Day 32

DSCI0726

It was like they never noticed the transplant. Number two from right was the one with small roots. I think next leaf already gonna be normal.

Indicas also speeding up.

I took a small handful soil to fill in a pot. Man there were at least 5 gnats in it.
I also found two beatles.
Well i'm trying to put some kelp meal on top. I heard it helps, although i didn't notice any change last time.

Day 34

DSCI0740

Nearly all got water today. I'm not feeding them yet.
Sativas on the front row.

I cut a fanleaf from a indica. It was drying.
Hope the ugly one is a fem. The ugly was the best last grow. I'm gonna remove last support leaf on it later.

I'm considering start training the sativas soon. Will try to follow gmonsters guide for nets.

Oh yeah. Kelp meal absolutely don't work against gnats for me. It attracts the flies. It also does that irl on the beach so it kinda make sense.

Day 35

DSCI0746

They got more space now.

One nigerian sativa got support and moved to more wind.(middle left)

Potting skunk No1 in final pot today or tomorrow. (back right corner)

It's gonna be some tough weeks keeping an eye on watering, so i hope i can flip i one week.

Day 36

Skunk No1 in final pot. It's an 18 liter pot, but i can fill around 7 liters more.
DSCI0748

The 3 indicas in the back now gets full soak + full tray.
The 3 durbans will get the same from tomorrow.
It already stresses me to think of, so i might find a big tray to put them in.
Still only gets water and live from the nutes in the soil.

Rh very low all grow 30 - 40%
The small sativas don't seem to like that too much. The bigger seems ok with it.

Quick update

I started some more training
DSCI0751

Durban got training from gmonsters guide.
I pinched the stem with pliers. Hope not too much.

DSCI0750

Indica afghan got improvised training but look at the "platform". Looks good for net.

Day 13

View attachment 2610242

Ok i don't know why this is happening.
First one plant did this tilt over thing. Then they got some air from the fan to make the stalk strong, and it raised again.
Now yesterday morning next plant was laying down.
I'll just let it grow a bit and see what happens.

And i can already see i'm gonna mix some draining in my soil when up potting. It's still too compact.
Over watered most likely if you have gnats, but it can also be too much light intensity on the plant. I would let them dry out until they wilt a little, then water them. If it persists then turn your lights down ✌️

Thanks man. Yeah things have changed some since that post.
I think i got the lights ok now. I just measured 30.000 LUX with my meter. But they might have gotten a bit too much at start.
Gnats came with the soil but i almost always have some. Only the 4 i gave kelp meal have a little too much gnats but i got it under control.
Yeah i might have over watered and also under watered. This is new soil and also first time i mix clay pellets in so watering is a bit different.
I thought i could water faster but i have to do it more slow with more drain. Keeping a close eye on that.

Day 37

DSCI0753

The bend looks bad, but the plant looks good. (Durban poison)

DSCI0754

I forgot to say that the soil on Skunk No1 broke in half while i was trying to take a picture of the roots.
It of course broke some roots, maybe 1/3, so a little setback there. A day or two.

The sativas are almost gnat free, but the 3 indicas with kelp meal........ they love it. (the flies)
Also skunk No1 has many gnats from the new soil. It will take me about a week to clean.

Got some hooks on some durban leafs. Not sure why. It came before watering a few days ago. I looked it up and it could be too much light.

Day 38

DSCI0759

I've removed the net again after i took the picture. It was a bit to early after all so i'm just medium stress training atm.
I don't know what my plan was with skunk No1. I has 4 branches so i'll see what i can make of that.
One Durban hanging a bit but all in all ok.
The bend durban seems fine so far. I just don't like how dark the stem got in the bend right away.

Day 39

DSCI0762

I'm training the 4 of the bigger ones. Trying out some different metodes.
Nigerian sativa left. Afghan indica Balkh region middle. Durban poison right, and they are starting some sativa leafs.
Skunk No1 middle down.
DSCI0763

I think this training metode, i'm trying on Skunk No1, maybe my new favorit.
It gives me more access with no wires to the pot.
Yeah i'm already a fan. I'm gonna see how it works. I got stronger wire if i need.

Day 40

DSCI0764

Two of the Durban still hanging a bit.(back right corner)
I'm only waiting for the 3 Nigerian sativa on the left to get some size before i flip to 11/13.
I still think the indicas gets a little too much light so i rearranged again after taking photo. Between 29.00 and 33.000 LUX.
I gained around 1.500 LUX at this light setting, after some fresh paint.

DSCI0765

I was gonna show the bend but.....
Well bend is brown'ish but probably ok but the stem seems to only get thick after the bend.

Day 41

DSCI0773

Skunk No1 middle bottom. Only got 4 branches. I'll call the training, the crucifixion.
Indica back left corner might have gotten too much water or maybe it has used the nutes in the soil.
Dorban back right corner has risen.
They are all still using the nutes in the soil.

DSCI0772

This time out of focus but at least the brown on the bend is visible. I'm spiral training this one. 5 plants gets training now.

Day 42

DSCI0778

Yeah the indica in back left corner got a bit too much water last but looking better today.

DSCI0779

Look at the side branches on this Durban. Self training???

DSCI0781

Skunk No1
My crucifix training is going good.
It got water when transplanted 6 days ago and again the day after till small runoff by accident, but it seems ok and not bottom heavy.
I think the lid helps a lot keeping the top soil moist for so long. Still moist top soil.

Day 43

DSCI0785

Got some very thirsty plants today. Picture is from after watering, so they have freshened up a bit already.
The Durban stem is getting very fat.(the 3 right)

DSCI0786

Here is a rare case of vacuumitis. Hard to diagnose.
It's from them being sucked into the vacuum cleaner hose.

On the ball mate. Your Gunna be outgrowing your space soon enough. You got a tent or flowering in an open space? You gave me the motivation to grab a few80s Durban and Afghan lemon from khalifa as well so thank you for the reminder..

Ha ha i know. I don't need horror movies. I just start 6 stativas in 1 m2 🤣
Thats why i keep them i 2 liters pots.
And i'm only going to keep 4 after they show sex. But that will take 3 weeks from when i flip.
It's gonna be a mess this grow too with the transplant again after flowering start.
I need a better way to grow reg plants.

Yea I'm limited for space here as well and usually run a rotating setup where I'll pop two plants in a 90x50 and move em to a 2x4 to flower and then keep popping em every 6 weeks as I've got a 90x50cm tent and two 2x4 tents.

I find a lot of the less worked regs take a good 6-7 weeks to hit sex even if flipped at week 2 so I don't run regs as much as I should. Just a big hassle to get a plant 6 weeks in and then have to recycle half the medium and plants every time. Last year I got 3 fems out of 11 seeds so I've been on a reg hiatus but will get a few going soon.

The joys on my end of illegality. In a big share house too so it's hard to sneak medium, pots and shit in and out of a single room.

Day 44 for the indicas, the 3 to the left.
Day 37 for Skunk No1 bottom
Day 22 for the sativas

DSCI0787

I decided to flip today.

DSCI0788

Balkh hash plant. Afghan indica.
This one is acting up. Could be it has used all the nutes?
First i thought i over watered it. But i with the root size, all the drain and the light pot i found it strange if that was the case but i don't know.

DSCI0789

Durban poison
Two of them has been hard to read.
I suspect they don't like 30 - 40 Rh too much.
The clawing or hooking looking a little better right now.

You know @Vick_Vinegar I've been more and more interested in trying 12/12 from seed after reading that tread.
Maybe a better solution for me with only one closet when growing regs.
It just cost some more seeds but at the same time i can make my own seeds then.
