The Chronic. no really -> ss chronic!

looks good! jus finished running the chronic. went 9 weeks but coulda went 10 for sure.

hey get this. i got mites.

just sprayed them all with that monteray spinosad. i thought i had killed them all months ago with floramite/forbid combo, but here they are again. got the humidity up to 65 percent, and will give them one more round of spinosad in 3 days. then if i still see any a week later i will break out the heavy artillery, before flower of course. :hunter:

trust the man 10 weeks most of these 8-9 weekers are really 10-11 weekers the amsterdam seed breeders have always short changedthe length of flowering time to stay competitive in the commercial cannabis circles most of there strains yes are watered down imo but if grown with tlc properly to full term you will have some nice kind bud on ur hands green crack[clone only ]can be chopped around 50 days

Here is a select pheno I ran of the SS Chronic last year -- amazing smoke -- more potent then OG Kush, and that is all bullshit aside.. Lung expanding mother fucker, thats for sure.. This was a select pheno found in about 500 SS Chronic beans. Take them to ATLEAST 70. :harvest:

try that SNS 217 for the mites works like a charm!

n I'll try n get some pics up tonight or tomorrow for ya. I think there's two pheno's possibly three of the new Chronic and i also have the my old chronic that i've had for 5 yrs now.

I noticed the new chronic smells nothing like the old pheno i got. New stuff seems alot sweeter, the old Chron was pure skunk funk. You couldn't put enough bags on it to hold the smell. I'll post up pics of both!

these chronics right here were my first attempt in coco and are at week 7. i was going to just feed them water with maybe a little mollasses/calmag this last week before choperoo. looking at them it doesn't seem like they could sustain life another 3 weeks. :nerd

will the buds keep growing even when all the fan leaves have fallen off?

the trichs all have heads on them and are kind of cloudy, was hopping they'd have some amber at day 56.

i know exactly what you mean. i wont buy from thseeds anymore, because the plants were taking weeks longer than what they stated.

Good shit my man. Its apparent Chronic has changed a lot of the years, as we've seen with other seed companies Lines. Its def not the same old Chronic it was 10 years ago. By the looks of things, Id try to take these another cpl weeks. I have some old F2s from the original stock Ive been holding dearly. Ive been itching to get em poppin. I think I only have 10 or 15 but Im planning to run them outdoors this summer. Try to find a keeper.

yo winta, i will try to get a whif next time i'm in there, the 10'' max fan is filtering the whole room 2x a minute, so i'll have to really get my nose in it.

here the plants are in veg. remember these are all clones from one select mother plant of serious seeds chronic that was gifted to me from another grower.

the close ups are of the worst looking one. quite a few do look very similar though. i'm hoping it's an over watering issue, and that as the medium drys up, the plants will go greener. keep in mind that they were transfered from beer cups to these 2.5 gallon containers that were already saturated with my nute mix at 1.6 ec i believe, and 4 days into transplant i noticed leaf burn so i resaturated a semi dry medium with pure water, no nutes.

medium is promix cut with perlite, lava rock layer on bottom

i know u think theyre over watered and over fed but they look dehydrated and hungry to me. the burn on one of the pics looks like u may have just spilled some nutes on it

interesting. how could that be though? medium is totally saturated.

the humidity is low. like 40%. trying to get that up, but my 100 dollar honeywell humidifier doesn't work that great

if that is the consensus then great, because i'll just keep feeding 1.6 ec with drip clean and 20% runoff. that should work well right?

Hello Bong Bandit! Back in post #7 you have pics of buds with a browned funky side on them. It seems to be on just one line of plants, the brown/yellow little mountain range. Back behind them those plants are healthier looking. Then on the brown side of the plants and the plants towards that way seem smaller, not as vibrant. Is that the directions the lights are in. Is this a vert or horizontal grow? It is almost like the direction of the room had something happen. heat, intense light??

Now the newest plants on page #2. What is the ph or your solution going in and what is the ph of the run-off? They aren't real bad but something is off. If the ph is fine then add Cal/Mag or Epsom Salt to the fert.

hey tobor. i don't know what you are saying really, but those pics in post 7 are in coco and have 1 blockbuster hood over them with 1000 watts. first coco run, and that room will be coco once more. no heat issues, but too intense light for sure. i remember that i raised the hoods like a fucking foot and a half 2 weeks into flower when it seemed that they were getting damaged by too much light, heh.

ph of feed was 6-6.3. i will take a looksy at the runoff next time i can water.. just want to wait till they are dry, you know? weed seems to get real fucked up and show false deficiencies if you keep the medium saturated imop, but i'm retarded.

i haven't foliared since the spinosad a few days ago. i'll give them a foliar spray of algamic tomorrow

you could always try with just 1 and see what happens

i just switched to coco myself and found it can take a little more ppm maybe just a little more cal mag than dirt, also i dont think youre suppose to let the coco get too dry

oh believe me, i have cal/mag. i have them all. the algamic is supposed to have cal and mag in it i believe, and i have this other shit, yellow bottle fertilizer additive that has mag in it. i'll give em a spray and see what happens


this is promix though, and promix isn't supposed to have cal/mag problems, especially since i'm using tap and dutch master gold nutes should have everything i need. hmm
