Afternoon,
Seeds don't need much nutrition due to their youth. A clone however taken from a mature mother can take much higher ec some can take 3.0 even if applied correctly. I am paraphrasing one of the jungleboys out in Cali. Arguably the best growers out west. Look up jungle boys on...
Many are showing signs of over fertilization you might be feeding too much. Plus the pale white leaves look like a nitrogen problem since the viens are also yellow, not only the spaces between. Plus the lighter leaves on top look like an iron problem or could be micros in general. Chlorosis on...
It looks like you are working with good genetics. Out here in North Africa I buy untrimmed flower (sugar leaf and bud) by the kilo.it always has some seed. Not much, vast improvment in recent years in genetics and grower quality. I probably net close to 100 ripe seeds per kilo of biomass...
Make sure you harvest when ripe, 10 to 12 weeks could be too long which in many strains would cause rodelization. Self pollination via stamens/nanners. Anticipate the trichome ripeness and flush a week to 10 days before.
Good luck
I was wondering if I can take the tops as a cutting on the established and healthy ones..let the lower shoots grow. These are 9 plants. Half of which statistically are males.... which will be tossed once they show sex in flower hence it will not be as crowded once the lower shoots grow. What do...
These plants are from seed (view attached). Are they too young to clone? I know they are too many for the space... I just wanted to sprout many under this light. I see a few good branches on most of them. Many are almost 8 nodes in (main stem). I was basically hunting for thick stems, short...
First I would like to congratulate you on growing such beautiful plants. There are still some clear heads. I remember reading somewhere... "When you think it is ready, wait a week". Many quality genetics and great bud is lost to a premature harvest. Check them every 3 to 5 days... You have...
Hi @Strracer75 ,
I am quite new to growing but I can tell that this plant needs a little more time in flowering. It lools like a Sativa which flowers significantly longer than your typical Indica strains. I state this since the hairs have not darkened significantly which is the usual tell that...
Thanks for your input, I too thought so.
I have two seedlings that are supposed to be indica. I will pick a good mother from both varieties. I will keep yall posted once the indicas begin to show their characteristics
Thanks again @916Fisherman
@916Fisherman
Not really no. Both were local genetics. In Sinai there are two main strains an Indica dominant landrace and a Sativa dominant. Only recently were foreign genetics introduced which constitutes a very small fraction probably less than 2% of what is out there. Almost all that is...
@Kanzeon
Sweet! I too intend on processing. Did any hermies pop out on you? I think the seeds I got were feminized. I had two sets a couple from one bag and 8 from another. I got 9 females and one male... two didnt survive from the females. All showed their sex by week 6. They were quick to do...
Hi guys and gals,
This is my first grow from seed I got from Sinai, Egypt. I reckon they have some Sativa in them due to their large internodes and thinner blades than pure indica.
Any remarks?

@chemistry @Brofessor
Recall the sick seedling?
Attached is what has become of it!
I am not sure about the taxonamy but looks like a Sativa Dominant.
Thanks for your help guys
Hi @chemistry
Thanks for pointing that out... I went ahead and covered it properly. The growing medium is gravel and I am a little worried about raising the seedlings which could lead to unintentional root damage. Another one of the 12 plants has a genetic abnormality (Figure 2) which looks...
HI,
Thanks for your prompt response. I followed your advise and checked the pH which came out fine.. I too thought it may be a phosphorous deficiency due to lockout since it does look quite similar to it. I then went ahead and checked the temperature of the water which came back at 72.6F which...
