I ended up picking up a Kind K5 XL 1000 for a pretty decent price used, and also a phantom DE today, hoping it's a solid mix of the best of both worlds. Couldn't display enough balls to pull the trigger on the $1600 spyder X plus, but I will one day :)
i know this is obviously an extremely long shot, but you never know....
I'm looking to purchase a spydr x plus LED light, and before I go spending 1500 on one i figured it wouldn't hurt to take a shot in the dark to see if anybody had one used they were looking to sell.
Thank you,
Ahhh, so by watering every night I'm kinda messing up the plants finish and disturbing the stored chemicals the plant uses through out the finish? So should I not water them nightly during flush???
Water every couple days and then do the dump/vacuum/dump/vacuum process for the last final flush?
so I may be in a rush to cut down here due to some smell issues with my neighbors...so my question to you guys is ---
I have 15 gallon pots, if I were to continuously run say 5 gallon buckets of water continuously through the plant, and vacuum it out until the water comes out clear, would that...
So you're saying you cut holes into your framed wall correct? I'm seeing 24k btu window units for the same price as these portables. And being that I have a carpentry background, I'm starting to consider it much more.
I see this 630cmh has a few options available, 3k, 4K, 3K-R? Which one should I be looking into for strictly flower? And I'm sure I can find them a little cheaper with some research, but I'm seeing they go for about $600?
Damn now I'm worried, the guys at several grow stores claim this dual hose will do the job. I currently have an older 8k in the room that might have to go beside the new one I'm buying. Aren't these mini splits that were referenced above thousands of dollars?
Now I haven't purchased my DE...
looking to add a dual hose 14k BTU into my 10x12 flower room...I'll have some house AC to go along with it, I'll be trying to cool 2 phantom DE 1000W, and 1 1200W viparspectra, and 2 600W viparspectra's....also hoping to continue running my 2 pilot titan co2 unit....
Any suggestions...
I'm new to growing, and just trying to figure out where I'm at as far as yielding. I hear a lot of people say "2.3 pounds a light" and so on and so forth. But that doesn't really give me a general idea where to place my yield in a good or bad category.
(I run LED so I have more lights than most...
This is my first time sprouting from seeds. It's been roughly 48 hours since I germinated them. They have about an inch root tail. How long should I aim for the root to be before I pot them?
Also -- if the root tail is curled, when I do pot them, should I try to straighten the root out? Or...
Asking for a friend -- He has a pretty high infestation of spider mites. He has 36 girls that have just entered the flower phase. Our current plan of attack, is to top everything and get it out. Vacuum, high humidity, some type of doctor doom product? And then alcohol all floors and spray his...
Also--I would assume since my plants are showing signs trichomes wise of being close to done, yet still very little signs of ripening, would mean that I probably have a surplus of nutrients in the plants reservoir?
Right on. I'm using fox farm/pro mix 50:50 in a 15 gallon pot. The plants have shown no stress to the 3 gallon flush of water nightly, but as I'm gathering more info and really thinking about it. The last week I've done 2 half dose feeds, and they were probably just a waste of nutrients lol.
3ish gallons of water to a 15 gallon pot would be considered drowning every night? They are draining probably 50% of that in run off, I just figured it would be a nice cleanse of the roots nightly to get salts etc out before harvest. But now that you point out the roots breathing etc, that seems...
So twice the volume of the pot during the whole time of flush? I've seen people say absurd ratios of water per gallon of soil. And seems ridiculous to think about putting 10gallons of water through the plant at one time. But im the one looking for info, so I can't put it past me.
Everyone's 2 cents is worth a dollar to me. I've done an extreme amount of research, but sometimes trial and error is the only way to learn. Just because you can read a blue print doesn't mean you can physically build a house. All input is extremely appreciated as this is my first year of doing...
