Received these seeds as a free promotion. Thank you!
Plopped the seeds into a dilute H2O2 and tap water solution for 24 hours, then into a paper towel tucked into a sandwich bag with the solution.
2 days later we have lift off and they got installed in 2" square pots in Jiffy Seed Starting Mix...
I started my 2026 outdoor grow seeds in the house under LED lights, in a tent a little too early. Then I started some more. Then more. I hope to stop soon. LOL (got some coming from Seed Supreme, ya, I did that.)
I'm allowed 12 plants and I try to keep it there, but you know, it's so hard when...
Noticed a couple of weak leaves and took them off a Northern Lights Auto, and looked at the underside with a Digital Microscope.
I was concerned they might be mites, but they don't move or seem alive. Wonder if they might be 'sap' from a damaged spot.
Has anyone else seen this?
Last pic is one I...
Okay, the outdoors is done and I'm looking for a new adventure. 🙂
Lots to learn, so I'm a gonna lean on y'all.
Splurged and got an AC Infinity 4 x 4 tent 'kit', with all the bells and whistles.
UPS dropped it off yesterday and hubby and I put it together today. Very impressed with the...
Looking to get a tent for this winter. Normally I wouldn't even think about tiny plants in a tiny grow, but things are looking bleak for my monsters outdoors and I'm thinkin' I may need an alternative. My space would ideally fit a 4 by 6, and I wanted to go with AC Infinity, but they don't have...
Found an excellent discription of various diseases from the University of Florida.
Outdoor growers have to know this stuff. Indoor hopefully not so much. 🙂

Went out back to do my morning walk around and found my Wild, Wild, West CBD plant with this on the top.
I have many plants and none of the others have anything like it.
Outdoors in Southeast Mich.
Oh, and what can I do about it?
For the biologists on the forum.
Would it be possible to inoculate Potassium Polyacrylate crystals with bio-fungicides before mixing with potting soil.
This is for an outdoor grow.
My aim is to defeat the verticillium and whatever else plagues my plants.
Would the bio-good guys be killed off...
Just wondering if the fabric bags that claim they are biodegradable and you can put the whole thing in the dirt is REALLY biodegradable?
The reason I ask is because I used the jiffy pellets and that netting does NOT biodegrade in my dirt.
Anyway, I just transplanted a boat load of seedlings...
Okay guys, I'm starting this year's adventure by experimenting again. LOL
This time I want to dry out the soil before planting to try and see if I can outsmart the Verticillium disease that ruined my crop last year.
I love repurposing, and had a roll of velum, so decided it would work great as...
I have an outdoor plant early flowering.
The flowers are dark purple and I think it has Botrytis. But it's REALLY hard to tell.
I saw brown sugar leaves and when I pulled one a puff of dust (spores) emerged. Yikes!
The rest of the plant looks okay, but now I'm not sure.
Is there a way to tell...
Fly that controls the beetles
I hate Japanese Beetles, so was happy to see a fly that lays eggs on them.
If you see a beetle with white dots on it's thorax (space just below it's head) don't kill it.
Those are eggs of the fly and need to be left alone to grow and devour the beetle.
Thanks 😁
Okay, so I'm gonna try and post all, successes AND failures, so I can refer to this post to help me remember them next year. (the old synapses aren't firing like they used to and I need a hard copy)(so to speak) LOL
I only grow outside in the summer. Started growing 5 years ago when it became...
Thought I'd share my fix for helmet head.
Small square paper towel on top of seed coat, sprayed with water a few times so it doesn't dry out.
12-24 hours later and while still damp, carefully remove shell and inner membrane.
Good luck. (as with most things it works MOST of the time) 🙂
Years ago I used to use these on my tomato plants and got tomatoes 2 weeks earlier than the neighbors.
I'm in Southeast Michigan and wondered if there is any benefit to using them on my cannabis plants?
I remember mine were clear, don't know why these are blue.
I have been growing from seed outdoors in southeast Michigan for 5 years now.
Most of the resulting plants have been all over the map with growth patterns and THC/CBD levels and hardly ever match the descriptions.
I'm seriously considering setting up an indoor grow area and taking cuttings of a...
I've grown Autos and Fems the last 5 years, so next year I want to try regular seeds.
I know how to tell the males from the females but WHEN do you transplant the females into the garden?
Outdoor grow, I've got a dozen photoperiod plants and I found these on one on the top of a leaf.
I'm going to put it in a container and see what happens, but thought I'd ask in case someone already knows.
Thanks.
