This is good continuing education for farmers, IMHO. I learn alot from the folks that grow at scale - this guy is one of the more personable and informative I've come across.
You get a sense of who he is in this:
I tested the Solacure T5 lamps this spring. Quite impressive - on first application they singed the flowers a bit and gave a few sun-leaves a bit of a tan. This was with 3 4-ft lamps in a 5x9 tent at 30 inches distance. Then things got frosty after limiting to an hour at midday. One thing I...
It's kinda what you do (alot) for SCROG or whatever they are calling it these days. You'll get over the guilt pretty quick if this is your intention. 😉
Kyle is pretty awesome when a user has some issue - way above what I have seen in other projects when you get him interested in a problem. I mentioned hydro projects and pointed to an existing project based on Home Assistant and he went full control gonzo with the peristaltic pumps. Who knew...
Every successful rockwool grow I have seen is automated. Heavily. I think its like top fuel dragsters. Fine when its tuned, but blows up real good when something is just a little fucked up.
Those have weeks to go. IMHO you are hyperfocused on amber trichomes and forgetting you are growing a flower.
The flower takes 6-8 weeks to be done. YMMV, but frankly those are not even close to "ready". Be chilled.
I've noticed the flood gates have opened for clone sales. I'm pretty sure my HpLVd came from clones I purchased at my dispensary.
So I'm going the seed route fer awhile. I kept wondering if I had COVID - because the BlackJack just didn't smell like it should. The pheno expression in the...
THIS was a useful thread. From Dirtbag cheap
to slightly more involved. And this is the "I have painted myself into a corner" problem for many new farmers. Ya know they just let their plants sit in the puddle and it shows usually with the salty appearance and singed leaf tips. So they...
I had suspected something was up when the BlackJack ( normally one of the loudest fragrances ) stopped smelling like Jack.
Spiky phenotype on what usually is a broad indica type leaf. Dense canopy, so not larfy and sparse. But apparently trichome challenged in a serious way. So this one is...
