Outdoor grow in Southeast Michigan 2024

Frostberry is a short season plant. They need more light than most to stay in veg. Granddaddy Purple Ultraviolet could be similar since it has Frostberry in it. Only a few out of 56 now. At least you found it early.

    Aloha Limone Colorado Seed Company

If they're growing slow topping them slows them down more. I'd let them grow without topping. I find seed companies tell you a story about genetics which doesn't always match what the plant tells you. The "small" hints that maybe you have genetics you didn't expect.

Seedling next step which soil to buy

Promix HP can be found at most lumber yards. I got the last batch at Rona in Canada but could have probably found it at Home de Pot ;-o.

Thanks. That shot was about an hour ago so it will be a while before I find out what the gender is. The front 2 plants in the pic below are Frostberry with Okanogan Grape behind them. The purple Frostberry was something to look at.

I'll grow in pots and do an inside/ outside with the 3 plants I'm keeping. Top Back right - Hawaiian God, a special cross of Hawaiian Puff x God Bud. Older by a week or 2 than most in the tent. Growing to the God side of the genetics. Middle right - last one planted, Peanut Butter OG Bottom...

Some males in there I expect but should be a good year. It doesn't take a lot of the Lucky 13's to get a good crop.

Holy crop to supply a town batman !!! I wouldn't want to trim that crop. I find 4 of the Lucky13's a lot to trim :-).

best time to germinate seeds for outdoor grow in the in the northeast?

I put a structure up and ran rope through the branches and had no problem last year. There is screen on the side to cut wind and keep branches in. No breakage.

Problem with getting smell in control

Probably the biggest part of controlling smell inside is choosing seeds from low odor strains. The next part is how many plants you grow. Filters help but for all the air leaving the tent you need an equal amount going in. I leave the top of the tent open but it's a dark room so light isn't...

Upcoming Outdoor Grow Season - 2024

Hurry up and wait :-). There's a lot more of that than any thing else for outside grows. Stop buying seeds? I don't understand ;-).

Upcoming Outdoor Grow Season - 2024

Fencing is for support. Winds in August break plants too easily especially when they get taller. I usually top inside once and after that outside plants don't get thinned. I'm on the forum to share. Thanks for the conversation.

Upcoming Outdoor Grow Season - 2024

I expect you will be VERY happy with your choices. I like regular because they give me the biggest, healthiest plants. The Angel '98 will likely be better inside. I've grown Frostberry and Okanagan Grape outside (pic below). One Frostberry was purple, one green. Zero health issues. The...

They're not only legit Lucky13 but is one of my favorite seed companies. I'm Ottawa area. Michigan will be really close to Ottawa for the weather and light. Favorite strains but for different reasons include the Hawaiian (6 ft. sativa inside), Pineapple - inside (lady having cancer...

Upcoming Outdoor Grow Season - 2024

Thanks. I had zero problems with anything. I harvested before things were "finished" but got a good crop with nothing spoiled. That's a Green Dragon (mostly Green Crack) from Lucky13, a Canadian breeder in BC ;-). I've run their Frostberry before and finished the end of August !!! There...
