That’s scary. 7 days max for me...although even that is making me nervous. Testing my drip system this weekend which is set-up to give 300ml every day which will broadly workout the same to what I’m watering them in total every other day.

I think you’ll be fine...it has cooled where I am of late and I’ve noticed the pots are not drying out as quick.

First time grower....I have 12 plants, 8 of which are 14inches high and look healthy and are doing well. However, remaining 4 are not growing so well, so do I wait for these 4 to pull their socks up and catch the others before switching to 12/12, or do I just accept they are not going to produce...

Yes, only 1cm or so once the water has soaked through the soil...any water in the tray will disappear by tomorrow and not planning on watering again until day after tomorrow- should I leave it 3 days between watering?

I also used repacked compost Sorry, misunderstood what you meant! Maybe naively, I used pre- packed Westland multi purpose compost, don’t know the product spec buts it a nice and light allowing plenty of air to circulate ...I was careful not to contaminate with dirty pots, equipment etc...
