Isolated branches wilting above dark line in stem

Hello everyone, My grow is going well this year; however, I have noticed several instances throughout the summer of isolated branches with wilting leaves. When I go to investigate, I find a dark line across the stem. Leaves above the line wilt. What is happening here? Is it some sort of...

    Underfertilized

Hey everyone, Does anyone have any tips or special methods to properly correct a potted plant that has been underfed. It’s showing classic yellowing overall with some cannibalizing if bottom leaves. Also some patches of interveinal chlorosis. In the past I have learned my lesson in over...

    Over-fertilized?

Apparently this happened overnight and is not a foliar spray issue.

    Over-fertilized?

Hello everyone, My uncle is trying to grow some bud for the first time and has been doing very very well so far. He has a very healthy, dark green, plant that is thriving through veg. Here in Ontario, ladies don’t start flowering until some time in August. He sent me these pictures and is...

    Leafhoppers!!!!

Ok guys so they are taking over and I’ve reached the point that if I don’t do something soon she could suffer irreparable damage. My local grow supply recommends Safer’s End All which is a 3-in-1 insecticide, miticide, and acaricide. It would be a damn shame if the spray made things worse than...

    Ontario, Canada, Outdoor Growers Thread

Stick to the indicas. Gotta flower as quick as possible. The Hindu and Afghani Kush lineages like northern lights and skunk are usually quick finishers. I’m trying cheese and purple punch this year. you may want to try your luck with autoflowers if you want to expand your range of strains into...

Do I need to feed if I transplant to nutrient rich soil?

No matter what medium you use for potted plants you’re gonna want to fertilize after 4-6 weeks. FFOF is absolutely the best but even that will need some supplementation later on. Unless you’re growing autos, fertilizer is key in my opinion.

    Leafhoppers!!!!

Hi everyone, It appears that I have leaf hoppers. I’ve grown outside for years but have never had issues like I’m having now. It doesn’t appear to be too widespread but every day I find more and more patches as seen in the photo. I really don’t want to use insecticides or neem oil if I don’t...

    Weak main stem?

Thank you so much for the feedback. How do you pull down the lateral branches? Just string to stakes in ground? I’ve trained many potted plants but never in the ground.

    Weak main stem?

I went into a local cannabis growing supply store and one of the workers suggested that I top the plant. I really don’t want to as I have topped several others that I placed on fabric pots. I did this strategically. From previous experience I’ve observed that cannabis grows better and has...

    Weak main stem?

Hi everyone. My two ladies are growing very very well. I have used bamboo supports with zip-ties ever since I planted them outside to protect them from wind and to straighten them out. I have been careful to leave enough space with the ties as not to choke the stem. My question is this: By...
