First dryback after transplant in rockwool?

Sure here they are on chop day. My current grow I'm trying 4x4x2.5 blocks on slabs. Definitely not going as well, will be using Hugo's full time after this one

First dryback after transplant in rockwool?

I ended up not watering for 12 days I think. The Hugo's do hold a ton of moisture so the roots have plenty to drink when they're just starting to spread. The grow ended up incredible, once I got the hang of irrigation.

First dryback after transplant in rockwool?

Hey All! Been growing in coco for a few years, giving rockwool a try this run. I cloned in the grodan a-ok plugs and placed them into 6" hugos once rooted. I'm using a Teros 12 to read wc/ec. The Hugos read 80% WC after initial soak, which from what I'm reading is the field capacity I was...

Very early flower, is this a herm?

These are feminized seeds, you think its a straight male?

Very early flower, is this a herm?

Usually I'm good at spotting, but these look too conical to be male sacs? Sorry for the poor quality, trying to take pics through a jeweler's loupe is hard.

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Absolutely. My irrigation strategy and efficiency is something I wanted to really work on this run. Hence the new watering system. I didn't even start the crop steering till week 4 of flower or so I didn't do the important generative steering during stretch. Next run flower will be steered start...

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Forgot to mention, I purchased some cheap Ecowitt soil moisture sensors ($20 each!) and a wifi gateway. I can now monitor the drybacks in real time in exportable data. Pretty amazing for crop steering, and serves the same function as a $600 Aroya or Growlink (mostly). Very impressed

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Thanks man, my 5th run and I've got it running like a well oiled machine. Here they are nearing the end of week 5. Little too much stretch (I put kelp in the res, too much gibberellin is my guess). Lesson learned

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Excellent point. I grow in a cool basement and control temps and humidity with a combo of heater/dehumi/humi. VPD is on point for every stage of growth. I have plenty of air exchange and air movement. Tons of light. And this is what allows me to feed at 2.8ec and the plants to eat it up...

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Yes, you really cannot over water coco. I'm currently watering 19 times a day since I'm in vegetative steering. 12 waterings to start the morning, every 15 mins, then every hour till lights off. 5% dry backs Perlite (by itself or in coco) will require more watering, since it will dry back faster

Why is my node spacing so terrible?

Oh no for sure, I vegged at around 65%, around 600ppfd on the canopy. Lights went to 100 the day of flip

Why is my node spacing so terrible?

The light is 'full spectrum', I assume there would be some red in there

Why is my node spacing so terrible?

I had the e720 at 22in 100%. Ppfd in the middle is 900+, seems like alot of intensity. Hmm well I make my own nutes using salts and RO water. However, I do give them a microbe watering every 7 days with: Kelp <-This might be the culprit Tribus Recharge

Why is my node spacing so terrible?

Temps were around I'd say 79/74. Definitely not a big drop Yeah just wasted potential is what irks me. I'm sure I'll end up with some good bud, they are super healthy

Why is my node spacing so terrible?

Hi All, 5th grow and the first one where I've had such an issue with stretchy stems with few nodes during stretch. 5-6in between nodes. Every plant in the tent, 4 separate strains, all the same. I'm thinking it must be an environment issue? I did let the temp and humidity hang around 80/70 for...

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Quick update on my current run and also to show the power of high frequency fertigation. 12 plants in 1gal fabric pots (next run will be 16), straight canna coco, feed about 1.8ec @ 5.8ph 3/9, first day of 3x watering a day 13 days later, right before the lights were flipped

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Correct I was responding to tixg04, should have specified. For adult plants the more the better.
