Read this thread from beginning to end specifically looking for the answer to this question lol. Thanks for asking it! It's perfect time as I'm going to be doing my first harvest very soon. I'll try 48 hours darkness before the chop. =D
May I ask the distance you keep the sf4000 from the plants? Seems like I can put my sf2000 a lot closing during veg than the sf4000 during flower. I think it's because the sf4000 is in a 3x3 tent, though (the reflective walls). I actually stunted my plant on my first flip by having it too close.
Is it frowned upon to bump an old thread? lol Sorry, if so...
Wanted to see if you could share the actual THC percentages. Interested to know if it was like a 25% 1st vs 20% 2nd or if it's more like 25% first 12% 2nd, etc. Thanks.
Another question for you or anybody else joining in: Don't...
I'm in the same predicament right now and I ended up buying https://www.amazon.com/Southern-Ag-Friendly-Biological-Fungicide/dp/B00VXQG23O/ instead of hydroguard. Same bacillus Amyloliquefaciens strain but way more concentrated. Don't have any answers to your questions, though. Someone else will...
Maybe I'll try something like Neptune's Fish and Seaweed liquid fertilizer instead of just the liquid kelp.
https://www.amazon.com/Neptunes-Harvest-Seaweed-Blend-Fertilizer/dp/B000IS780Y/
Even with brand new soil and fertilizer? The organic soil is only 2 months old and the 1-2 inches of worm casting on top is about 1 month old. Aside from that, just water, though. Soon I was going to use liquid kelp for some waterings.
Sup guys,
I posted a few weeks ago with an issue (my leaves were turning yellow). I figured it out was due to light burn. My sf4000 was only 18 or so inches from the top of the plant, which was fine until I bent her over for scrogging. At that point it stunted the plant. Once I figured out it...
Thanks, again! It's not an auto flower; it's a photo period feminized from Useful Seeds. I guess if I don't see some improvement soon, I might try the perlite. Is it a huge pain to scoop it back out after harvest?
Ok, great. I was hopeful it was over-watering and not something else. Was the pruning of the leaf necessary or recommended?
I get paranoid under-watering for too long (to let the soil dry out for the gnat problem) since this would be harmful for the microbial life in the soil, no? The soil is...
Hi guys,
I have my plant growing in "living soil" (I used Buildasoil 3.0).
I have a fungus gnat infestation I've been trying to eradicate, so far I've applied BTI a few times, and nematodes twice. It hasn't been too long since the applications, so I'm still hopeful it'll work. Oh, I also have...
Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on some red wrigglers for my 30 pound smart pot of living soil. For those of you who have used red wrigglers for indoor grows, do you have any regrets? I only seem to find advantages in my research. I could keep the worm separate from the weed plants...
Thanks. Glad I asked. I was going to go with one of the "Big Box" places (like Humboldt Co or Nirvana) but after some research I read the smaller guys' shit pack a bigger punch. Two I found mentioned highly across various sources are CSI Humboldt and Useful Seeds.
Thanks! By a shelf, you mean just in an open room? That's what I was actually thinking of trying first.
I actually pulled the trigger on everything for my flowering room last night. I decided to hold off on the 2nd tent for a few weeks or months. However, I am still heavily leaning towards...
Thanks! I pulled the trigger on BuildaSoil 3.0. I bought some clover cover crop and top soil from them too. Hoping I can keep the soil healthy for a long time. I'll be using it in a 30 gal cloth pot (1 plant in a 3x3 scrogged) .
