I ran Platinum P600’s (bluprle) for a while but switched to HLG 260’s. Much less weight and heat but more importantly for me was the PAR output. Also the bluprle were tough on my eyes and pics suck! I’m not putting down your selection of lights but think full spectrum might be a better alternative.
I think these plants are toast, sorry for your loss. I might isolate the worst one and experiment on cures! Try a few different products and tell us which ones worked and which ones didn’t. Use this loss to learn and prevent future problems
I’ve read on this forum about using perlite similar to Happy using sand with positive results. I’ve used predatory nematodes with success. It takes about 7-10 days for them to begin having an impact but they do work. Also read mosquito bites work but I’ve never used it.
I’d like to help but need much more info. I start autos in plain FFHF in the top 1/3 of my 5 gal fabric bag. The middle 1/3 has mainly vegging nutrients (4-4-4) , ewc & bu’s blend compost and the bottom 1/3 has kicked up super soil. The seedlings will get a good start in the mild HF and as the...
I would suggest you check your timer, I’ve had one tab out of place and my lights were coming on for 1/2 hr during the sleep cycle. It could be a light leak but it would have to be substantial and I think you would know.
Just a suggestion…take a 3/4” pvc pipe about 30” long and kneecap his ass. Anywhere on the shin below the kneecap. Repeat as often as needed. I don’t like the idea of cops settling my problems but f that guy. This is all a joke, right?
In my limited experience those are not nematodes. I use predatory nematodes (to kill root aphids) and without a microscope they are not visible. I think those are worms and if so pitch em back in the soil and let them do their thing!
Hey growers, It was suggested to me that the white sudsy residue I experienced might be corn starch, used as a stiffener. I’m not bad mouthing IPower, I like these bags, sturdy as starch 🤣.
Old thread I know- I just got some 5 gal. fabric bags from IPower. On a whim I hosed one off before using. I usually wash everything before it comes into the tent but never thought to wash new bags. I’m glad I did. Some kind of soap was impregnated in the fabric and suds ran heavy until I gave...
My experience with Alaska 5.1.1 was it dropped my pH drastically. You NEED a quality pH/EC meter. You have to know what you’re putting in and what’s coming out.
Just curious ‘79 about using piss. I really believed in seamaiden a while back and she was a big proponent of human urine. (Where’d she go?) I tried it and occasionally use it to bump up N and/or lower pH in my tap water. What motivated you to try it and how/when do you apply it?
Sorry, can’t help ya on your zone. I popped my 1st seed in Pitt Co a long time ago. Be careful, I got busted. I get a pucker factor of at least 8 every time I travel there now.
