    Bugs unknow on whole plant

You're looking at spider mites and their clusters of eggs there. I can't grow a plant without them around here. You can't really stop that damage from happening but you can keep the plant from being destroyed by keeping up on the pest management. Dealing with bugs should be approached as an...

    Rqs Epsilon F1 discoloration problem

The magnifying glass effect has largely been determined to be a myth but water pooling or beading on leaves still causes burn spots through a different mechanism. To me it seems more like an oxidation or bleaching, but apparently it's an edima effect from normal leaf evaporation being disrupted...

Do you think this is a mutation or strain trait?

It definitely looks like Afghan genetics, but I'm wondering if the leafy bud growth is that genetic marker, the light schedule, or a heavy N load in the root zone. Afghan genetics tend to look leafy but they throw plenty of bracts and then just raise a couple periscope pistils out of them while...

Is this disease on my outdoor purple punch?

I'm late to this thread but concurring that looks like septoria based on the yellow margins showing on the lower affected leaf. Remove all leaves with symptoms. You cant control the outdoor humidity but you can put a fan out by your garden and give it some artificial air flow to make it less...

The Entourage Effect: Why The Whole Plant Matters

All the hash I ever got a hold of back in the day tasted great, but didn't really get me high, not sure why. I remember piney and a little perfumey.

The Entourage Effect: Why The Whole Plant Matters

Conspiracy theories about the government eradicating anything out of cannabis just don't hold any water at all for the sheer fact there have always been growers who have kept their stuff out of the government's hands, and the same holds true about cannabis having "lost" that wonderful dankness...

First timer here, is she ready yet?

It looks ready or darn close to it, but the buds are still throwing fresh pistils in a way we call "foxtailing," and what that does is stacks new bud over older bud and making it difficult when to decide to harvest. So what you'll want to do is get some loupes, a magnifying glass or digital...

Do you think this is a mutation or strain trait?

Its a type of mutation and very common across cannabis plants when they are subjected to an irregular light schedule. I see that when I increase light duration. Five fingers become 3 and sometimes they'll throw 4 with the down step. The radius of the fingers also tightens up whereas a normal fan...

posted in introductions, quite a few views but absolutely zero answers. wick watering pls help lol

It's sort of an OCD thing but if I'm watering with the hose, I'll hit a pot with the water turned to a gentle volume going in that doesn't pool and I count to 15 and then move to the next plant and do the same and then circle back to the first plant for the next 15 second burst. But I'm with...

What microscope or loop do you use to inspect trichomes?

Those ones on Amazon that are shaped like a microphone are a nice cheap price and use a generic app in the store called "Max-See." You can see what you need to see but trying to snap a pic is a little tricky without it coming out blurry if you don't have something to hold it steady for the...

White veiny yellow lines on leaves

That kind of damage is caused by a category of insect called a "leaf miner." They make those channels throughout the surface like they're playing that old Dig Dug video game. Remove the mined leaves because they probably have eggs sitting inside the leaf tissue, and spray with spinosad...

PLEASE HELP WITH ORGANIC NUTRIENTS AND SOIL INFO!!

Probably the biggest nuance I find with soil is it's like steering a cargo freighter ship vs coco and hydro being like a speedboat where you can turn on a dime if and when you need to. A slow moving ship you gotta know the turns coming up ahead and steer in advance so the ship will take that...

PLEASE HELP WITH ORGANIC NUTRIENTS AND SOIL INFO!!

I don't know how organics got lumped in with "you don't have to bother testing EC." Toxic levels of EC can be produced entirely by organic sources so all I can say is if you don't think you need to worry about your EC in an organic grow, "F around and find out." 🤣 And I don't know if organic vs...

Kill it? Weird bud-shape (Pineapple Chunk, Barneys Farm)

Soil is similar in that you have to draw down that EC but you have to pour exponentially slower than you would in coco so as to not displace the biome. Then you can follow it up pouring in a better ratio to steer it in the right direction.

Can I leave drying in tent after bud hits 10-11% moisture?

If you have 2 way climate control via something like an Inkbird where it will automatically hold at 60% rh, you can theoretically leave them in there as long as you want, but terps are volatile and while they're exposed to oxygenated air they're gassing off and losing them, so unless you insist...

Discoloured leaves, yellowing and spots, in late veg

I use empty water bottles with holes poked in the bottom... Put a couple bottles down on top of the soil, fill em up and move on to the next plant and do the same so you get a nice slow watering without having to sit there like an idiot with the can in your hand working on one plant for half an...

    Help me out my people’s

RO shouldn't "strip" nutes, it's just not carrying a carbonate load and you want to adjust your feeding to account for it. I have 1.0 of just tap... Suffice to say I put a little pinch of Epsom in every watering so the cal mag ratio doesn't get out of whack just from watering. On second...

    Help me out my people’s

This is gonna sound weird but the lower leaf turning yellow looks like the kind of deficiency I see with a high pH drift and those bleached edges are something I've seen with a low pH drift so unfortunately I can't be of much help tracing it for you.
