well my first and only experience with it..... yielded me monster colas with no garbage on the plant. Overall plant was smaller but the total yield was up and 100%usable. Not sure what the guy with no resin did with his BM but mine are coated. Didn't see much of a quality drop visually yet...
So after many years of ignoring the hydro guy trying to sell me all sorts of witchcraft, I finally tried some Bushmaster last run. Damn! Puts your girls into almost immediate flower, no stretch with tight nodes with coke bottle sized colas. So this is great but when your expecting a stretch...
Do you notice a loss of trichs using that? I was about to hit some bushmaster (1ml/gal 3 days at 12/12) on mine for the first time but got turned off by too many reports of loss of resin and crappy looking flowers. I'd rather have less of better personally.
thanks for the setup help earlier...
So my 12/12 was interrupted, they had 14 "on" last night. I need the lights to be on the schedule I had set so is it better to just give them 1 10 hour dark period to resume the same schedule or should I keep them off 12 and then just give them 10 hour of light tomorrow and then resume 12/12...
The other plant is shadowing it a bit but its on all the tops, full light ones and shadowed. I flushed it two days ago, gave it 1/3 strength today and I'll post back what happens. I think they actually look a little less twisted today but can't be sure. This lavender strain is crazy, looks...
No pic cause its lights off now but this should be easy to describe....the leaves on my flowers (the small ones that will be trimmed off) are twisting like a corkscrew at 30 days, the fans look perfect. I have two identical plants in loose rockwool (5 gal) being fed out of the same reservoir...
ogonly....how big can you get plants in those 3 gal root pots (like in the original pic). I mirrored your setup and I can't believe that small of pot is going to hold it the whole time. My stalk size and time of flower look almost identical to that first pic you posted. (i would've pm'ed you...
True story......I once grew kyrptonite (killer queen x mendo purps) and got fungus gnats. The strain was so sticky in the grow, all the adults got stuck to my flowers like "purple" sticky pads. It took forever to trim that.
I've never grown an autoflower strain but I think they have some sort of ruderalis in them which isn't a very good strain in comparison to what is around these days. you can flower yourself by just changing the light from 18/6 to 12/12 when you want to flower. That way you get control of size...
My first go is with 3 gallon smart pots, i saw some guys journal on here "ogonly" and he had 2 inch thick stalks in 3 gallon pots and I was sold. Went out that day and ripped the youngsters out of my hydroton. i agree you can't overwater coco, its a rather amazing medium in my short time from...
from what I've read, you don't want to treat them like soil and wait for them to start drying out. you should be running solution thru it on a regular basis (once a day), kind of similar to hydro. is that not correct? I've heard it holds way more air than rw too which means I could actually...
I'm a new coco user, long time rw/hydroton user. My question is what time of day is best to water coco? I'm hand watering once a day at lights on to 10-15% runoff and just wanted to know if this is ideal or if it really even matters.
