One thing I've just noticed: you should bring the soil level as close to the top of the Airpots as possible. The first two or three rows of cones do not have holes for the roots to come through. This is so that the soil can create an evaporative barrier; otherwise you risk your soil drying out...

What made you decide to try two different types of pots? BTW, the Airpots will need to be watered more often than those traditional pots. I'm sure you're aware, but just in case ;)

Read the title, it's a regular Mag, so it's ~160 watts total. And no, an LED is never run at it's full wattage. The efficiency drops off drastically after a certain point. And finally, this is my first grow with a sativa heavy strain, so of course I wasn't going to blow away yield records...

If you're only out for yield, I don't think LEDs are going to beat HPS. However, if you're going for quality, LEDs will not disappoint. My virgin grow was with the 357Mag LED, and my meds are awesome. Check out my grow diary if you're curious. I'll be doing another grow in a couple months...

I don't have a watt-meter, but I've seen reports that the 357Mag pulls about 160 watts. I wish the LED manufacturers would be more honest about the actual wattage too, but that's why I researched all potential LED units carefully before I decided to go with the Mag.
