Take care with basil and tomatoes

Difficult to fight Fusarium with those stúff but a good preventive. This has all been done for fibre hemp a long time ago. In "hemp diseases and pest" Partland et al. wrote about similiar in 1961 with Trichoderma. But what the professional fibre hemp people did: develop a nonvirulant strain of...

    Building up fungi resistant plants???

No, I am using another guys server for inserting pics....pain in the ass.... Yes we sprayed the sick clones heavily with a copper formula. Copper seems to inhibit Fusarium growth but can not heal it. That is the white stuff. They were complete little cripples. After about 6 weeks they began to...

Root Aphids, Fungus Gnats, and other fun bugs (ID PICS)

The flies are harmless. The larvae eats roots.....if we use Steinernema feltiae nematodes here in central/ northern Europe, the fuckers die within 48 hours. Soil should be kept moist otherwise the nematodes die too early...... Catch the flies with yellow stickers But IMO you have other strains...

Take care with basil and tomatoes

In some areas here it has become nearly impossible to get basil plants on balconies and in gardens thru the whole summer....at some point they develop Fusarium full blown as is shown in the link and they hide it inside for a while. Same goes for tomatoes. It is IMO an Agrobiz problems that is...

This is the kali Mist grown from nearly dead fungus clones. We believe they are fungus free, but the look a bit strang and growth pattern is difernet from normal cannabis plants

Root Aphids, Fungus Gnats, and other fun bugs (ID PICS)

Not here, strangely enough....here they are just something you treat when there are too many flies. Nobody regrads them as dangerous, maybe they are really different, I dont know.

Root Aphids, Fungus Gnats, and other fun bugs (ID PICS)

That is a sciridae larvae and that is the sciridae fly: Very easy to handle here with Steinernema feltiae nematodes. heard it is more difficult to get rid of them overseas. Strange differences in nature....

Root Aphids, Fungus Gnats, and other fun bugs (ID PICS)

Just because I never heard of that before, it is not common here... I only know Sciridae larvae and they are no real threat. When you see the flies, just put nemetodes in the soil and the are gone.

    Building up fungi resistant plants???

Friends had a big problem with Fusarium infections of their plants, most probably transmitted from basil/ tomatoes. The AK 47 mother plants died but before they were dead they decideded in an act of pure desperation to take some clones from the wrecks. They looked horrible but managed to root...

Root Aphids, Fungus Gnats, and other fun bugs (ID PICS)

Kind of strange that you have this problem with "root aphids" overseas.... Here only Sciaridae are common http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sciaridae, I have never heard of "root aphids" here. They are easily controlled with nematodes, Steinernema feltiae, killing all of them in 3 days.
