I don’t think the ballast will know what bulb you have. it’s probably running 1000w from my experience. i gotta call my ballast guy in BJ to double check.

did you see a difference in light when you turned 100% to 60%? my ballast outputs what ever the setting is on. 100% 1000w, 60% 600w. i think that’s the industrial standards

that’s bad if you can see it from the outside, better safe than sorry. I also build a box around the window, it’s kinda a bitch to access the window once it’s on though . . . make sure you water proof the wood to prevent mold, it’s any easy place to over look imho

i don’t really count on my scrubber (carbon filter) to exhaust heat, especially 8” just to remove the scent, and another inline for heat, there are stainless silencers for ducting for stealth. pics or more info would be helpful . . . .
