    Post your Organic Soil Mix

I find that is the key with guerrilla. Over the years you learn to keep it fairly simple and that always seems to work well. Backyard growing is a different story but yeah.

    Post your Organic Soil Mix

Yeah, forgot to add the units. The 1/3 cup of flower power is actually top dressed when I transplant. I add the other stuff in first and turn the soil over. I'll return later after everything has cooked. To new holes I add 8 gallons promix which is then mixed in with native soil. The holes are...

BEST WAY TO POP SOME SEEDS

The incubator - you set your own temps. Any mushroom cultivator will be familiar with this concept.

    Air cooling lights Q

You make a really good point billyboat about different strokes for different folks. Additionally, thats a good thing to take into considering, the smell leaking through air cooled reflectors. I never thought of that although I run a 8in. scrubber inside the room and another one on intervals...

    Air cooling lights Q

I grow in a gorilla 9x9x8 at the moment, with bare lamps I'm alright since I have the 18k split. After this crop I want to expand to the 6k. I figure I could recycle the heat in the basement and use it to heat the house a bit. I understand you lose roughly 10% on the lighting output. That was...

    Air cooling lights Q

Cool yeah 8" will suffice. I can always turn the speed down if anything if it's too much. The raptors seem to cover a huge space. I do about 4.5'x4.5' of canopy per 1k so the spread of light is important. Bare lamps and not doing vertical isn't helping...

    Air cooling lights Q

Pisces, do you think I should grab the raptor instead? I went by the greners research testing. You know that chart comparing a bunch of different reflectors... Raptors are really nice from what I can see. So do you think I should have 8" reflectors and use reducer ducting adapters on each end...

    Air cooling lights Q

Yeah I think 2 is a good idea. I was curious about the s-line vortex fans. I have a regular 8" and it's somewhat loud. The s-line vortex is apparently quieter.

    Air cooling lights Q

I have a 8in. muffler attached to a scrubber. I only use them to lower the noise. It is the type lined with acoustical foam. I wonder if 6 relfectors @ 8in. will work with a single 8 inch fan. I believe only so much air can flow through the ducting as is so that is a big restriction in itself.

    Air cooling lights Q

I wanna buy 4 blockbuster 6in air cooled reflectors. I want to expand to 6 next crop. Can a 6 inch fan handle 3 hoods in a row. I plan on doing 2 rows of 3 each. Muffler - fan - hood - hood - hood I am under the impression that I draw cold air over the lamps, not blow cold air. Is that...

    Best co2 controller?

Interesting controller. The one thing I like about those is that you can have the outputs energize relays or contactors. I would not plug a dehumidifier, a heater, fans etc in that. 15 amps... my dehumidifier pulls 11 amps. Never seen that one before but it looks neat.

    Flip box Stress Question!!

Best to stay away from the cheap china made boxes. If you have some electrical background you could always wire your own flip. I run an intermatic timer which controls a cube relay, which then controls a set of lighting contactors. Normally closed on the idec controls 1 room, normally open for...

Wanted some opinions on what you guys thought the best co2 controller was. I do not want anything C.A.P. too many bad things about them... I want to have a generator wired into it.

    What's the best mini-split system?

I came across some diy units called caribou, was wondering if you have any information regarding them. They only seem to come in 18k btu max. Still leaning towards the 24k btu friedrich breeze, although that unit is back ordered and hard to source.... The thing is I want to expand to 6k soon...

    What's the best mini-split system?

I find mr.slim has the best reviews but tough to get someone in to prep lines, vacuum etc because of the security. My budget allows for 2500 including freight and instal so trying to work within those parameters. You make some valid points cannabisjohn. Are there any diy models you recommend...
