    Rockwool Water Content Measuring

Is anyone using Smart Bee's Water Content Sensor system to measure and/or control water their rockwool? Or using the system from Growtronix? Anyone have feedback on these systems? Just saw someone in texas has filed a 2007 patent infringement (on the idea of using a combined sensor system) on...

Cap, Is anyone to your knowledge using Smart Bee's Water Content Sensor system to measure and/or control water their rockwool? Or using the system from Growtronix? Have you had any feedback on these systems? Also, what timer do you use to allow 20 sec feed intervals?

1/4 Hp Chiller With Cool Coils (4 Uc4 Systems)

I'm lost. . Things seem to be going well but noticed water was 77 the other day (I use lots of uc roots so no rot) Is it worth running the chiller to 50gallons and setting up a pump on a manifold to run the cold water through each system individually, or should I run them all in one line...

1/4 Hp Chiller With Cool Coils (4 Uc4 Systems)

Thx, the design is a moving! target! I think now, as a DTW, using rockwool, the rezs, 55 gals, will be kept in a central room where all mixing can be done. They'll stay on there own about 70? Then piped to the appropriate room. One rez dedicated to one grow/bloom room. It's what I'm doing now...

I'm moving to hydro from coco. Thinking dtw on rockwool. Rooms (3) stay about 80F, 2 are sealed with CO2, a/c, dehum, 315 LECS. Would you provide sketch on your chiller setup. Thx

    Top drip watering schedule?

Moving to Rockwool from coco now. Done with dirt. . . Thinking top feeding is the best, using 4 or 6 inch cubes on slabs in trays. Does anyone reuse runoff - I'm thinking it's not worth it - just puts new variables in the nutrient equation. From Ogonly's post, prob watering once daily, 5 mins...

    Think It's A Mg Deficiency

Thank you for all the advice! Very interesting about pH rise in the pot. 6.0 it'll be. Was flushing them earlier, first pail dumped had ppm 4700, second @ 1700, last was 1100. Think I was overfeeding, causing all kinds of nutrient lookout. Going to try 5 gal smart pots, to see how they grow...

    Think It's A Mg Deficiency

Well, as a neewbie, following the lead of someone no longer in the picture, he said bigger pot=better plants. . . And he used Tupar Gold. . . I'm following the H&G Coco feed schedule, on a 3 day rotation: fertilize, water, dry out. I feed/water until there's about an inch of water in the tray...

    Think It's A Mg Deficiency

This seems to have occurred when I started making pH 6.0 from what I had been using 6.5. Charts tell me Mg doesn't get absorbed above about pH 6.2.

    Think It's A Mg Deficiency

Thanks, no mites. Thinking I may how nutrient lockout do to too high Nutrients (H&G EC 2.1- 2.2 [1100-1200ppm]) I've been doing feed, flush, no water, repeat regimen on a 3 day regimen. When you flush with carbs are you using a weak fertilizer solution also?

    Think It's A Mg Deficiency

Bruce Banner Week 4-5 in Tupar Gold in 7gal plastic pots, using H&G Coco. Keep pH about 6.4. Have tried spraying with Botanicare Cal-Mag solution last week. Added cal-mag to nutrients also for the past week. Any Suggestions? Also with regard to watering, am using nutrients first day (~1050ppm)...
