Very clean set-up SOME. I don't you have super high humidity in your tent, so im going to say you are right. Looks like some over spray on nutes. Should be no worries. But yes wash your hands, just to be safe.

How big is your tent? So we can size your light needs.

The issue I see is that you have more metal halide(blue, veg light), you need more hps (orange/red ,flower light). But do use some m.h. , say 2/3 rds hps, 1/3rd m.h. A mix is best. The t5s and t8s are good supplemental light.

Junk I agree with you, cubes can be temperamental. For me at least. Cloner is much easier.

Calistar, I don't use a dome and I have the same success rate. I do understand what JUNK is saying and agree about the humidity part. When I did use the dome, and then replant without the dome, my plants wilt and some don't make it. So I don't use a dome. Your choice.

You could start slightly training them, but to me they are still a little small. I usually start training mine at around 8" to 10"s , some people do it at smaller than that, but to each his own. Be patient grasshopper! Topping- is OK to do, but remember causes stress and can take up to 2 weeks...

When I ran a 1000, back in the day, it was 5 5gal pots per 1000. Maybe 6 max. Agree with cannabeans. More space, more roots more yield.

The rule/suggestion I've always heard is 1 plant per square foot. 4x4=16sqft 16 plants. If that helps.

Lack of nitrogen. In a way, its normal. Happens in nature in the fall, harvest time. IMO yours are lacking at little. I keep feeding mine veg formula(slightly reduced) until the 1st or 2nd week of flower. So that the ladies can have enough nitrogen to make it all the way through to the end. But...

Just to chime in, I use r/o water, and either superthrive(very small amount) or liquid seaweed(if you're trying to stay organic). 99% success rate, for me at least.
