DIY LED with COBs - small medium and large grows

That's really good advice, and I think you're spot on regarding the shockingly poor Euro market. The tax itself is not a problem. It's that I'd pay draconic duty fees, import fees, sales tax (25%) on the item... sales tax on the import fee, and the duty fee. Until recently you even had to pay...

    Criticize My 2250w Led Cob Build - Clu048 1212c4

Well, there can be several reasons for it. First of all, buying expensive does not mean only buying once. They won't last the rest of your life. From what I can tell, there is a lot of progress in the field of COBS. This is great. On the other hand, it happens so fast that I'm reminded of PCs...

    Criticize My 2250w Led Cob Build - Clu048 1212c4

I'm very curious about this. I had been considering 117.5W CLU048-1212C4-353H6M3-F1 Version 6 COBs. I'll be following with interest.

    Black

I had to look that up. It does look similar, although this was significantly darker. It seemed to be a nigh unnatural black and without the attractive white trichs. It was about a decade ago. Perhaps a bit less.

    Black

Sadly I have no picture, as the plants didn't belong to me. One day I visited my friend, who called me over to see his harvested outdoor plants. What I saw shocked me. Some vandal had been at it with a spray can, ruining the entire crop. Or so I thought. These plants were truly black, from top...

    Sativa Or Indica

That sounds like a solid choice to me. You have a great climate for it. I doubt you'd need to go wholly sativa.

    Not The Bees!

I agree 100%. Bees are mankind's best friend. Be nice to them. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I was stating that if a colony of bees frequent your plants, the honey will give you a high. This was an unexpected effect that I discovered some years ago. This is relatively harmless, particularly...

    What's A Good Vaporizer ?

I'd have a look at the Plenty vaporizer, made by the same fine people that brought us the Volcano. If you want portability, Mighty could work.

Native American Pipes? Anyone Know If They're Good?

Zero idea about the one in the link, but an old friend of mine lives in a reservation, and has used similar devices with satisfaction. Wooden bowls tend not to last long if you go with pure herb, but a stone bowl shouldn't be a problem. I doubt the stem will be an issue... although as...

What kind of grinder do you use?

The Bulldog from the Amsterdam café of the same name. Although a pretty basic grinder, it's a beast. You could probably slice the stem itself with it, if you were so inclined. I also own a Peugeot hand-cranked coffee grinder. Excellent for dealing with larger amounts. I'd consider getting a...

His & Hers Tins , What's Your Favourite Way To Hold Your Weed

I use a Le Creuset coffee container, mainly because I had it lying around... and it isn't half-bad either. Non-porous enamel, wide mouth, silicone seal. Coffee fanatics make some pretty decent containers. An associate of mine does indeed use a tote. I may envy them a little.

    What Are Your Favorite Papers?

Rizla, Bugler, Elements, Pure Hemp... really, I will go with anything in a pinch, but for preference I will pick RAW. RAW is pretty good. Expensive, but it doesn't break the bank. Big sheets for preference. More work involved, and I seem to recall you get less value for your money, but it's...

DIY LED with COBs - small medium and large grows

I keep coming back here, so I figured I'd ask. While I'd love to have a nice COB setup, it's rather difficult to get off the ground here. Availability is poor at best, and knowledge is even harder to come by. There's always the internet, but that isn't without its pitfalls. Getting parts from a...

    Not The Bees!

I've seen bees mentioned a few times in various threads, and I thought it was worthwhile to discuss them. Bees don't necessarily favor our favorite crop, but it does happen. This can be pretty awesome if it's your own bees, but if not there are some considerations. Bees will take some resin...

New To Indoors, Glad To Be Here

Thank you. Yes, I've lurked on several forums, but fell for this one due to the high level of skill in the community, as well as the overall welcoming nature of the place. A combination you don't see a whole lot. Looking forward to learning from you all.

New To Indoors, Glad To Be Here

Hi everyone. I'm a second generation outdoor grower. Technically third -- but that begins and ends with my grandfather working on a hemp farm in the mid thirties. So, technicality, no knowledge shared. Nevertheless, I learned a lot from my father, and consider my knowledge quite adequate in...
