Depends on the plants and what the grower does with them. If you can make the plants mobile and the lights movable it would be best till you know what works best for you.

The thing is you have to know your plant to know what spacing to use.

40" spacing was what DDs and a few others have used. Beware not very many plants will work in 40" spacing. See my gallery for a few pics of vertical lights in a warehouse grow. :icon_spin:

IMHO DDs system is for gaming the low plant count limitations with a very high yielding plant that probably wasn't that good of quality. No disrespect to DDs. :icon_spin:

4.5 ml of Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus gets me 400 EC. Seems to work for rock wool hugo blocks, plants look great, have had some leaf spots without it.
