Two coats of Durabak laid down. That is some sticky, hardcore mofo shit right there. Glad to only have touch up left to go.

I was pretty high man. Then I painted that shit. Man what fumes!
Decided to put another gallon down, just for good measure. It should be here on Weds. Then I'm done with that.

Well, tomorrow is the big dig for me. I am trenching somewhere upwards of 100' to lay water pipe for the room. Not my favorite thing to do, but it has to be done. Running water is a must. A hose just don't cut it for a MPB garden.

Organic cartridges are the ones that I have been using for reference.

And for this weekend's mele:

The garage gets water! :smiley_joint:

We dug a trench a little over 110' long, and 18" deep for a fresh water supply line to route to the garage. We ran 1" schedule 40 pipe. The pipe is very easy to work with. Digging the trench was another story.
Now it's ready to hook up the inside water stuff.

There was an old concrete chunk that was massive from an old basketball hoop.:sign0055:
That thing almost killed us to get out, but we did it. Much cleaner now.

Drain system will be coming soon boys and girls...

The source of the water comes from a 1" water line that I had set aside, when I was setting up my homes sprinkler system. I just had to run it from the house to the garage.

A hose is inadequate in my opinion for a MPB system, because you need very large amounts of water to fill and run your system, not to mention flushing as well. You also should have a constant supply of filtered water for all this and to top off your res from your daily water uptake. Too much to deal with on a hose.

Besides, I always dreamed of having a good supply of running water for my garden plumbed right in.:)

Thanks man! I am definitely chomping at the bit to get some girls in this one, myself.
As far as words of wisdom, you have already helped with your thread, as have the other guys out there with some experience running these things. You may be right, one day I may teach somebody, something about this style. Let's just hope it's not how to kill a batch of plants.:D
