Yes summers here are hot and dry but we love it.
Sounds like you got some work cut out for you. Looking forward to some pics of your rooms once they are set up!
As far as RH concerns, we aim for 60%-70% in veg and as we start to flower we gradually bring it down in 40%-50%. This seems to work well. 20% or 30% is too low.
As far as your well water and ro issues. I presume you don't have enough water in your well to run your RO unit enough to fill up a back up res?
Use the run off water of your AC unit into your back up res, now you have distilled water, even better;). We barely have to top of the res with the RO unit as it fills itself up.
Get a cheap UV light that you mount after the RO unit to assure nothing lives in the water anymore by the time you feed your ladies.
