Lettuce is good for cooler weather. Anything root-carrots, beets (I recommend heirloom), radish
Everything else you named is a brassica except the Swiss Chard. I can't grow them here uncovered. They will be gone, striped naked in 10 minutes. Even when covered, I have to check on them daily. Pest come from the soil too. I don't till.
Brassica are a favorite of mine. Had 13 heads of cabbage last year and made kraut with it. Even went to my aunt's to get my grandma's kraut cutter and crock. Anyhoooo, telling you this so you know to start out using BT on your brassicas. The white moths you see are cabbage moths. They are dropping an egg everytime they land. There are many different kind too. Moths are white. Caterpillars are green.
I'll take a picture of my black magic kale tomorrow and show you. Just bones. That plant is 3 years old. And it freezes here. Leave them in the ground instead of pulling them at the end of the season or when insects have destroyed them. You'll be surprised. Some will go to seed and provide you with more seeds at year end or when it gets hot. Others will just return and provide more food.
