Lol I guess it doesn't matter that much of I'm doing it manually I can just flip the switch but o was just wondering because the hlg datasheet seems to imply the relay will work with any its dimming optiona
The drivers only dim down 90% the other 10% requires power shut down

I was watching @growmau5 video on his new canopy 12UV light and i saw something I had not considered until now.
Growmau5 shows a cxb3590, 36v running on a LDD1050 meanwell driver. that got me to thinking.

With the following:
a meanwell SE-450-36 power supply ->http://www.onlinecomponents.com/mea...DAC802F-9AB7-4858-B147-F3434D67374CcsF6xHtb5l $62
8-LDD1500 meanwell drivers at $5/ each ->http://www.ledsupply.com/led-driver...ep-down-mode?gclid=CIrSvoSM1NECFQEIaQodB1UKqA
2-LDD4UP boards -> http://www.rapidled.com/ldd-h-4-driver-board/ @ $15/ea $30 total
1- GrowGreen Led Controller
namaste

and you have a completely dimmable system with no HLG drivers at all and everything is dimmable under 5v pwm signals for on/off and dimming

Current uodate. I have developed a 6 channel model for anyone interested

I am so far behind in understanding what you've done. What I do know is that this is f'n impressive! I wish I could fully appreciate it, lol. Complete automation is the ultimate goal for me, so unless I buy an expensive controller, something like this is what I would need to do. Thanks for sharing with us lackey's

no lackeys just different points of departure. We all have our areas of expertise we share with others. I am re-working some code, as I always do, looking for improvements. I decided to put it out there.

regarding full automation I am nearing that phase. I just have many projects going on right now that require focus, I can't get to some things right now.

For instance, I am working on an automated ph system for reservoirs. I have code, I just need to make it affordable and usable for average grower and not scientist. I am also working on a Greenhouse automation system for lights, air, water, CO2, humidity, heating/cooling, etc. with schedules for all if needed.
thanks for the big ups.
working for the greater good.
