3x3 Organic ScrOG (Rainbow Guava)

Nice! But 2 in the same small container? Wont the roots get entangled? Never done it so Im curious. Oh I wasn’t doing anything with them, these are the leftover extras I took just in case

Day 30 update. Not too much swelling yet, but the trichomes are adding up quick…

Gave an EWC tea this morning for the first time ever. Figured it was better than a top dress.

Day 39, trucking along nicely. Will likely do an EWC top dress mixed with some Gai Green bloom in a couple days for one last feed.

Still using recharge double strength with the occasional water for the kelp and molasses. May do a couple more EWC teas as well along the way.

This strain will probably be a 9-10 week minimum

Last feed time I’m thinking. 6tbs GG, 1c EWC

Plain water for a bit

She’s greasy already. Just removed a couple lowers off the back earlier and rubbing my arm felt like sap. Good sign…

Today is actually day 47. Got it mixed up the other day.

Not much to update on. She’s stacking nicely…I’m excited!

Can also play a little game of “I spy” here.
When you see it 😄

I have a bunch of reference photos from others growing this strain and haven’t seen this early purple. Which leads me to believe it’s related more to a lockout for sure. Fed with Gai green bloom 3 days ago and now this is seemingly out of nowhere.

So yesterday I added 1tbs of epsom into the soil and scratched it in, but realized I should have watered in instead. Too late now…

All things considering, she’s still frosting right up 😁

Could potentially be my watering habits, I have been giving 5-10% every other day or so, perhaps I need to bump that up occasionally for a real good saturation. Have been battling with fungus gnats so trying to keep that happy medium
1tbs is 3-4g you should at .25g per liter and that is if Epson is your main source of magnesium
Allso Epson before calcium or you get stones that are not water soiluble

Thanks for the tips guys! I vegged this for just shy of two months, and planned to flip earlier but kinda lost track of time. Overall it will be around a 4 month grow which certainly isn’t feasible for each run…🧘‍♂️

Will likely be doing at the very least a 7-10g next time, or even a 15 if it’s just one again
my first organic grow Gaia Green and Promix HP day 45 of veg what are you phing your H20 to ?

Looking nice and frosty! Did you do the top dressing already?
I love watching the transition! Yes she got a 6tbs Gai bloom and 1 cup of EWC top dress about a week ago, that should likely carry me through harvest by the time it starts working. Plain water every other day with weekly low dose recharge.

Great choice with organic! it’s truly the best (and easiest). I actually do not PH my water and never have. I let the compost buffer that for me. My tap comes in around 7.5ish and low mineral/chlorine so it’s pretty good for the most part. And during veg I added a bunch of microbes to help as well.

I used the Shaded_one method he posted for Gai Green to top dress Epsom salt at 1tbs per pot (not per gallon) and it helped a ton actually. That was all she needed. For calcium I add plentiful oyster shell about a month or so before planting. The only time I seem to get a little Mg deficiency is from cranking up the lights too fast

Been USEING the recharge and drops of balance.. But I have been having pH issues I got some good advice from Eldin 6.5 during veg let it go to 7.0 during flower

I’m not sure about your mix, but you shouldn’t have to Ph with organics at all especially with Recharge. The microbes will adjust for the plants needs. It’s easy to overthink this stuff, but less is usually more with organics 🙂 But if you’re getting that much lockout, a good EWC tea could work wonders as well although it seems you’ve already done a nice top dressing recently.

Your ladies looks healthy man, as long as you can keep the right environment and enough food for them it should be a great run. I also recommend pumice instead of perlite for future use, since perlite floats to the top. Pumice is better for long term use.

I see you lowered the lights, that’s fine in veg, as long as you can ramp it up slowly to its peak (as much as she can handle) during mid flower before lowering the intensity again.

Eventually you can start looking into mulching and whatnot. Things like malted barley, rice hulls, etc. check out Build a soil and Clackamas Coots

What size pots are you using?

I’m still learning something new everyday with this style which is why I love it so much
