Maybe I missed something, but why did you remove the airstones?

Hey, Planit, you obviously know what the f$$k you're doing in a big way, but I believe Lost is correct in saying that smaller, finer bubbles are better. It's a question of surface area: 100 small bubbles have vastly more surface area exposed to both the water and the roots than does one large bubble of the same volume. The surface is where interaction between both water and roots will take place, so smaller bubbles=more surface area=more oxygen availability.

Whether or not your bubbles or a diffuser's bubbles are going to make any practical difference to your grow, I have no idea. :D So the point may be largely academic, but I think it's true. Anyway, didn't want to step on your toes, my man. Your grow looks amazing, and that's the last word. :)

Why not stick the air-stones on the end of the hose instead of using them for grow medium? I would think hydroton is a lot cheaper

Looking good bro I just wish I could taste this 36er lol

:afroweed: your all good pimp, you aint steppin on toes you are jus talkin good stuff eye feel you, its jus that air iz air my man no matter how you breath it or they breath it, the roots kinda move things around so the o2 gets dispursed all around. rite on

I still cant see how these will be done in 11 more days.
7 to go, eye have photos but left them so when eye get them up it will be two strong/weeks of photos. almost don seein the phinish line

eye was jus clownin, all good. yea eye use clay

theye wil make yu a believer, ;)
yeah thay R stand alone. its not to bad man, eye use a 120 plug ez cloner and get a nice root system on them and put them in this room for a few days with the flower nutes only so when day 30 hits eye jus go to each and submerge a pump and change it to pure RO. with them being grown this way they dont drink so much so its not so bad. it helps me keep a healthy eye on them also, eye sleep better when eye know they are ALL ok. :pimp:

im not sure if im reading this correctly or what...are you giving them nutes ONLY? or a flower nute/water mix? ive just never seen a setup like this where you dont really have to change out water or anything else like that other than the flush on the 30th day

savin money bro

whats up lost, nah man bubble size has nothin to do with it, air is air in tha water big or smal

nope the smaller bubbles have more ability to lift the water because there is more surface area as they rise... more surface area also means more contact time for oxygen..

He is right brother, those big bubbles are basically floating right out of that water leaving very little air for the roots. airstones are $1 a piece

just my 2 cents bro, but a am thinking with a flood and drain table you can cram way more plants under the lights ... also with a remote res you can monitor your ppms and ph better. I like your style root and flip, but with 6" cubes or emilys pots you would kill it with that strain bro, absolutely murder it in 6 weeks
